Family Dollar

This store is ok merchandise wise. However, the management is unprofessional. I went in to purchase a few things one afternoon and the manager was having a discussion with the cashier while he was attending to customers. It was obvious to myself and other customers that this discussion should take place in a private setting but the manager must have thought otherwise and continued to reprimand the cashier in front of the customers. I believe this was poor judgement on his behalf and I think the manger should be disciplined for such inappropriate behavior. It is not a good look for Family dollar.

It’s all terrible to me. They never have anything in stock and there’s always only one line open. It once took me 20 mins in line just to pay for one item.

It’s nothing fantastic, much like every Family Dollar I’ve ever too. This place just seems less stocked than the other stores I’ve been to and it also isn’t as tidy as I would like.

This review is of the Family Dollar on 5601 VIne st. right next to the equally and woefully customer service deprived Sav-​A-​Lot.
Let’s start off with condition of the store, it always seems to be in disarry. It’s as if they are bringing out merchandise 5 – 7 days a week.
Next If there is a hazard you are on your own, once when it was raining there was nothing at the entrance to warn or prevent an accident.
Finally customer service… there is none, during the day the workers are ambivlent, at best. At night the are downright hostile. I witnessed an actual manager snap at a customer because she dared ask for a cart to shop (the nerve of her). During the evening its like a disco, you here music for the workers while the grumbling of the customers waiting in ridiculously long lines goes unnoticed.
In summation this place is retchedly bad and this place has been in business less than two years.
