The food was great! I love griot and Fifi’s was so flavorful! The rice beans and pikliz were great! I wish this place was closer to where we live. We drove 40 minutes to eat this food and we were not disappointed. I do recommend that you call ahead and order take out. There are 2 very small 2 person tables that you can sit at(mostly just while you wait for your food). We hope to go back soon! Enjoy!

While the selection was broad, I just didn’t quite like this place. Like the other reviewer said, they didn’t give enough meat for the price and they left out a side on one of my platters. The quality of the food was subpar to what I am used to as well. There was an overall lack of all the FLAVOR that Haitian food is known for. I tried the stew chicken, legume and tassot. All were bland. I got there around noon too, so the food should have been their best, since it was prob their first batch of the day. I won’t be going back.

While I still think Fifi’s is great, I have no choice but to drop my 5-star rating to 4. Last night’s trip was pretty bad. I called to put in my order at 8:09PM and when I arrived at 8:53PM my food was no near ready. Apparently I was not the only one who had to experience a long wait because the small restaurant had several unhappy customers inside. Being the patient person that I am I sat and waited even though it took another hour to get my order ready. Fifi’s needs to take this long wait time into consideration. I understand that a lot of the meat(fritay and fish) is fried to order and there seems to be one person doing the cooking, but dawg… to be successful you can’t have your customers waiting way over an hour for food. Just saying.

Fifi’s has a lot of potential to be great, but there are just too many issues for this place to receive any more than 3 stars. To start with the pros – the food is pretty good! While it’s not the greatest Haitian food we’ve ever had, it is usually pretty tasty. It is flavorful and the portion sizes are very hearty. Here is just about where the good qualities end. The staff can be friendly on occasion, depending on who is there, but usually the service is subpar. They are sometimes reluctant to give you the food you’ve ordered, and it takes entirely too long for them to put the platters together. If the food is already cooked(and it usually is), it shouldn’t take 30 – 40 minutes to put it in to-go boxes! Another issue is the lack of selection from the menu. Of the many times we’ve been there, we’ve always had to change an order because they’ve run out of food. Overall, the food is good. However, we’re not always sure it’s worth the spotty, poor service, lack of selection, and the amount of time it takes just to get to-go meals! While we’re still going at the moment, we’re definitely on the lookout for a new Haitian restaurant to support.

Great Haitian restaurant! The griot had a really nice flavor, and they give a lot of rice. Will visit again.

The food is pretty good for the most part. Sometimes the rice is hit or miss. The fried pork, oxtails and turkey dishes are good. The prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes. The service is generally very pleasant but check your order before leaving because I’ve gotten the wrong order more than once. The space is on the small side, so be prepared to take out if the two tables are occupied.

I’ve been here on several occasions and I keep coming back. Love the soup on Sundays, the ox tail is good, fried plantains were freshly made, I even had fried breadfruit one Saturday. So much to try and it’s all been good. The Haitian cuisine has impressed me!
