Fireball Printing

I used Fireball for my wedding invitations and could not be happier with them. They have a quick turnaround time and offer great prices. The prints were perfect — high quality and great paper stock (they were 5×7 on 120 pt stock). They hand deliver proofs and orders over $ 100 for free. Beyond the print quality, Fireball has the best customer service. When I received the proofs (two different shades of white), I assumed incorrectly which was which. (If you’re not regularly working with paper, be sure to clarify!) I ordered the Neenah paper (creamier natural white) thinking it was bright white. The order was still beautiful, just not what I had been expecting. When I called the next business day, Fireball generously offered to reprint on the other paper at no charge! Thanks, Fireball!

I’ve been using Fireball Printing since 2008. It’s been a long time! I’m a professional graphic designer and send them projects to quote regularly. They always come in at a very competitive rate which is one of the many reasons I’m a repeat customer. They have great papers to choose from in-​house, and whenever I’ve needed to print on specialty stock, they always work with me on papers I supply from other vendors. If there have ever been any issues, they are very quick to resolve and even reprint when necessary. Turnaround is fast and consistent. They are incredibly responsive and work with me via my preferred communication — email (I wish more companies would treat email like a phone call as Fireball does — so much faster/​simpler for some of us), AND they’re local! Can’t beat that! I hope they’ll be in business for many more years.

I’ve had several bad experiences with fireball printing and do not recommend using them.
We decided to use them to print off our Wedding Save the Dates cards which we designed. We sent a few files and after okaying the proof, they printed the wrong file. I came in to pick them up on their guaranteed day and they weren’t ready, even though they said they would be. When they did finally print the correct file, the color was darker and they wouldn’t own their mistake. The «customer service» is a few hipsters behind giant Apple monitors who can’t be bothered to say hello let alone serve the customer. The communication was difficult from the get go.
If you are outside of their «free shipping» range good luck driving into a dangerous area only to feel looked down on by a business named after candy.
With all that said, I don’t believe the effort on the customers end is worth the poor quality. They do give away free fireballs though.

Used Fireball printing the very first time (was referred by a local graphic designer) and can’t say anything negative. Very responsive via email & phone and beautiful results.

Fireball is awesome. I came to them in a panic –with a rush job done for a work-​related publication. It not only had to be done quickly, but the finished product had to look amazing. Fireball was enthusiastic and responsive. In five minutes, they gave me a very reasonable quote. In 24 hours, my print job was done. The quality was phenomenal. I could not be happier. Fireball did an amazing, amazing job on a large order of multi-​piece invitations for my stationery company, Mountain Paper. The printing quality, fast turnaround and competitive pricing made it easy to knock this project out of the park with a very important client.

Fireball is great, I use them often to print postcards for my store. I’m totally clueless about pretty much everything graphic design related and they always fix my file to make sure the job turns out well. Add to that local delivery by bike messenger, a super fast turnaround and fireball candy included with your order and you’ve got a winner

I wanted to order some brochures for my pharmacy so reached out to Fireball. They responded almost instantaneously, offered some thoughtful suggestions for paper stock, and were willing to give me full proof before committing to a purchase. The brochures came out looking wonderful and the communication throughout the process was always rapid and insightful. I’ll definitely be using them again.

I’ve only had business cards printed through Fireball, but I’ve found that they have a quick turnaround and are very helpful. I requested samples of their available business card stocks for an upcoming order, and they dropped them off at our office the next day.

This place is seriously the BEST. Prints always come out great, they are very helpful and it’s SO FAST! I recommend their services to anyone with printing needs. On top of all that, they give you candy with your delivery… Amazing company. Well done!

I designed a program for a local theater group and needed to have it printed quickly (of course). I explained the situation to the folks at Fireball, and the fact that It had a black cover which would need trimming, though the rest of the booklet did not. After a few minor adjustments on my part, they adjusted the cover so the edges could be trimmed without cutting off any of the artwork or text. It came out looking perfect!

Fireball are super reliable with prompt, personable service. The pricing is excellent and the quality of work is stellar. Most of the time we’ve used them they’ve been able to deliver the following day. Oh, and you get a coupe of actual fireball candies with each order! Highly recommended.

This is my first time printing anything, and I was very pleased.
— Phone service: very helpful answers to my basic questions
— In person service: I worked with Greg and took probably 10 minutes of his time (with very beginner questions), and he was very helpful.
— Prices: seem reasonable.
— Turnaround time — about 24 hours for a relatively small job (125 posters and 250 postcards). Impressive.
— Final print quality: very high in my view (I’m not a graphic design professional, but a photographer, and I have seen plenty of bad stuff).
Overall: 5 stars. High value and good experience.
Also — Kensington isn’t that scary at all. Very cool warehouse location.
Update: printed another job. Looks lovely, great product and great customer service.

I’m a design professional who does a fair amount of print work of varying quantities and types and am always interested in a new printer. I prefer to support small and locally owned shops, especially ones who keep operations inside city limits. Usually, I test drive a new shop with a small job. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this shop for professional work.
I communicated to Fireball that I was looking to replace a vendor for a recurring job, as my old vendor lost their lease and this project is a recurring one.
Their hours start at 11 am. Customer service I found lackluster to «who cares» and largely email based. When I had concerns and noticed my rep/​contact/​person-​I-​emailed seemed confused I called. Someone eventually answered the phone, but they couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t help me. They said they’d call the person who was confused and have that person email me again.
There was great confusion over fairly standard print specs and ability to communicate exactly what the shop was capable of doing AFTER I’d submitted a quote and awarded them the job. I lost an entire day on a deadline sensitive job before I pulled the job and took it to Mr SirMinuteSpeedyx who answered the phone and knew their specs.
The great news is, there other small locally owned city based vendors out there and I found one to do this recurring job to so next time I don’t have to go to Fireball or Mr SirMinuteSpeedyx.

Big fan of Fireball printing. I do all my printing here. They do a stellar job and reply to Email quickly. Great, friendly staff. Warm (and HOT because they package fireball candy in the prints). Reasonable pricing, too. High recommended.

My life was made easier because of Fireball Printing. With a short time frame and limited budget, I turned to the fabulous Felicia D for a recommendation that would fit my needs. She sent me Fireball’s website, which was both easy to navigate and understand. I uploaded my file, gave my contact info and received a call within a couple hours.
After discussing my options, I made my decisions and gave my credit card info over the phone. One week later, 5000 postcards were delivered to my front door at no additional charge. Not only did my cards look exactly the way I wanted, but a few Atomic FireBall candies had been thrown in to boot!
