Four Seasons Philly Beer Loft

The Four Seasons is doing a great job of establishing itself in the Philly beer scene. Following up on this past summer’s beloved Beer Garden, the Four Seasons has decided to keep the local brews flowing Monday through Thursday, from 5−7pm, at their new «Philly Beer Loft».
This isn’t so much of a loft as it is a section of the lobby. There is a much more relaxed atmosphere than the main bar, and there are comfy armchairs to relax in while you sample the local brews. Beers are offered at $ 5 each, and each is a Pennsylvania classic– there’s Yards, Victory, and of course, Yuengling Lager. When I visited on April 10^th, they were also offering a delicious and refreshing Peach Sangria, also for $ 5. Complimentary kettle chips with crab seasoning were also provided, but be warned– they are addicting!
Overall this is a great place to grab an after work drink if you want a more chilled out atmosphere. You don’t have to fight the maddening happy hours crowds and there is a solid selection of beers. It’s worth checking out and should keep you happy until the Beer Garden hopefully returns.
