Specialties
Front & Palmer is a modern event venue, a former barrel factory in the South Kensington Art Distric. It features loft space with 35′ ceilings, art chandeliers, wood floors, solar panels, art furniture, and parking.
We comfortably host 250 guests for a seated dinner and dancing, and 325+ for cocktail receptions. Catering is by Feast Your Eyes, with kitchens on site. We take care of all the details, tables and chairs, all equipment, and staff, and with our 25 years of experience in custom special events you can rest easy, knowing your event will reflect your own style and all that’s important to you.
History
Established in 1982.
Feast Your Eyes Catering was established in 1982, and has been a leading off-premise caterer ever since. In October of 2009 we opened Front & Palmer as our own event site, complete with on site kitchens that house our entire operation.
Meet the Business Owner
Lynn B.
Business Owner
Lynn Buono, co-owner and Chief Culinary Officer at Feast Your Eyes/Front & Palmer, grew up in the food business, and worked in kitchens throughout her schooling in both the United States (LaSalle University) and Switzerland (University of Fribourg). Returning to Philadelphia in 1976, she immersed herself in the Philadelphia restaurant renaissance, and founded Feast Your Eyes, Inc., in 1980.
In 2009, after years in South Philly and Northern Liberties, Feast Your Eyes moved to Front & Palmer, an event venue repurposed from a barrel factory, in the South Kensington arts district.
Buono is a member of the Philadelphia Women’s Culinary Guild and Les Dames d’Escoffier, and taught buffet design at the CIA and at Catersource Update, the annual caterers’ convention. She and her husband live in Philadelphia, as do their two grown daughters
