Gallery51 was established as a leading source for exceptional antique woven art, including oriental rugs, European and ancient textiles as well as a range of ethnographic art. From time to time, contemporary artists are also featured. Clients include collectors, museums as well as dealers from across the US and around the globe. Services include collection management, conservation and cleaning, and appraisals for insurance, donation or estate purposes.

Business Owner

The owner/​director of Gallery51 has a background that includes study of history, fine arts and the Middle East; an M.A. in international relations and economics from the Univ. of Pennsylvania; many years as an administrator/​educator at an academic medical center and university; as well as a working as a business writer/​editor and several years of management level work in corporate consulting for a major, international firm.
