History

Established in 1985.

My older brother Danny started the business with a 1968 GMC pickup truck with a 3 on the tree gear shift and a heavily used kettle. We sat around the kitchen table the night before we were going downtown to get the business license. We couldn’t think of what to name the company. Suddenly mom looked at her pocketbook and said,” every home should have a Gucci!” So now we had a name! I was 14 and Danny was 23. I did what ever I could and Danny worked tirelessly, to make sure we made quality and professionalism our trademark! We have never stopped pushing to be the best in the business! Your satisfaction is what matters and we will always be there to stand by our product and craftsmanship. So from myself, Alan and my big brother Danny and all of our guys. We will deliver on what we promise, the Tri-​State areas most respected roofing company!

I can not say enough about how responsive and helpful Gucci’s Roofing was. My mother had a leak in her roof that others had tried to repair and failed. So I finally broke down and searched for a roofer in Phila. (I live in MA so had no local connections).
I reached out to Gucci’s via Unilocal on the Tuesday before New Years and they responded over Unilocal within the hour about being in contact. By the evening Danny Gucci had called me to say they would be over to inspect the roof on Wednesday morning, which they were. And on learning that I needed to return to MA by Sunday, they came up with a quote for the job by Wednesday evening and promised to get the work done on Saturday so I would not have to worry about it. Remember this was New Years week, so it was awesome that Danny responded so promptly and fit us in the day after New Years — and it was a Saturday to boot!!!
Danny also gave me two quotes — to fix the roof as well as to replace it. As he knew that my plan is to sell the house (mom has unfortunately had to move into a nursing home), he did not try to strong arm me at all about replacing the whole roof. He actually pushed me to just do the repairs and he committed to not only fixing the leak but fixing other stuff on the roof and making it look better for a future sales inspection.
I was incredibly happy and impressed with how promptly Danny responded, how compassionate he was, and how he did not push me to spend more than he thought I should. He was also clear and informative about their plans — texting me to let me know when they would show up, etc. The got the work done Saturday and it was such a relief.
I highly recommend Danny and his crew — they were just awesome!

The team at Gucci Roofing showed up when they said they would and provided a quote when they said they would, this set them apart from many of the roofers in Philly. The quote was not the lowest but I was more confident in work Gucci Roofing would perform. The work was done in a timely manner. I am very happy with the results and after the recent rain storm my home is dry. I would recommend Gucci Roofing to my friends and family.
One note is that they are cash/​check only.

Danny responded quickly when I called to ask about fixing an issue with my shingle roof (squirrels were getting in) and re-​coating my rubber roof. He was extremely helpful, wanted to make sure I didn’t waste money, and offered to come out at the same time as an exterminator so they could coordinate. Since I was also getting the roof coated, he also said he could include the patch for the shingle roof at no additional cost (although the problem ended up being on my neighbor’s side). He also provided pictures of the roof during/​after the coating. Seems like a very nice, honest guy and was very easy to communicate with over phone and text.

I got my new roof, then it rained and the weather stayed outside…
Danny Gucci and his team were incredibly quick to respond to my inquiry, to quote the job and complete my brand new roof all within a weeks worth of time. Danny explained everything that was wrong, what needed to happen and what the process looked like from start to finish. He provided before and after pictures, showing detail and process
I’ve been shopping for a new roof for quite some time, probably too long. I got 3 quotes in the early spring, which varied 1000s of dollars. It didn’t make sense, no one told me the same story. I gave up! Finally winter is about to hit and I know that if it snows, I’m done for. So I visit Unilocal and find that Gucci Roofing has good reviews and I send them a message. I received a message back in minutes… no, really MINUTES! We get an appointment on the books to have Danny come by to check it out.
Gucci Roofing comes to quote the roof, on time, with a ladder and they check it out. They come down with pictures and Danny explains all the work that needs to be completed. Followed up with an email quote and a date when they can start. The price was fair, not the cheapest, but the quote was the most detailed and I felt comfortable with their attention to detail. I felt like I was being taken care of by family.
They arrived on time, completed the job in one day, were courteous and clean.
The roof! ITS BEAUTIFUL!!! I’m so glad to not have to worry about weather anymore.

Dan Gucci worked on my mother’s home outside Philadelphia. He was very professional, he called when he said he would call and made every meeting on time. He made a list of tasks based on what was needed for our roof and gave an estimate. He and 2 workers did the work quickly. Afterwards, on a rainy day, he called to check on how the roof was doing. We appreciated his professionalism and quick work on our roof.

I called Gucci Roofing on Thursday 10⁄22 to schedule a estimate on a roof for a house I was closing on 11⁄17. I spoke to the owner and he stated he was at another estimate and would call me later to meet at my property. I cancelled my plans on my day off from work to make sure I would be available right away when he called me back. Well, guess what? He never called back. Not that day, the next day or the next. Even though they received high ratings, I will not be calling back. BTW, he asked how I found out their business. I told him Unilocal! Go figure.
