Only because I had to. On Veterns day 2015. Everything about this was a bad experience over cooked eggs under cooked hash browns, no refill, no check. Ugh!

I must eat out at least 4x’s a month and go to ihop about 8x’s a year, been to this ihop maybe 3x’s and really didn’t care to much for this ihop. This last time, this past Friday March 13, 2015 I experienced the best service ever! I have never received such wonderful, graceful, happy, experienced, professional, and such elegant service from anyone like I did from SHARON. I just couldn’t believe how great she was. I watched her go from table to table with the same attitude. I even complained about the cold pan cakes that was served to my husband and I. Now, normally it would be an attitude just because I complained but it’s like she flew to our table then flew back with fresh pancakes. Wonderful service Sharon. Anyone that eats here please ask for Sharon she’s the best! I hope she sees this I told her I’ll be back and I’ll eat in her section in fact I’ll call first

I was really hungry when I walked into iHop, mostly because I had been waiting at Green Eggs Café for a while and the wait time had not decreased dramatically. And, honestly everything was terrible about this iHop. I have never, ever had a bad experience at iHop but this just did it for me. When I walked in with a group of 6, the host kept asking us if all of us were here. And, we were. We kept pointing at one of our friends, who were clearly with us but the host didn’t believe us for some reason and we had to spend extra time waiting for no reason. But, he was a very nice host and gave us a nice informative welcoming. Our waitress was terrible, gave us an attitude and kept giving us the wrong order. At some point we were afraid to keep sending the wrong items back, or ask them to refill our water, because we really thought they would spit in our food. Most of the food came cold, and then we’d ask them if they could heat it up. It would come back scorching! It took 40 minutes for half of the table’s food to come out, which was terrible because they just had to wait for the rest of us to get our food– by which, their was already cold. They did not know how to split the check when asked to do so. The experience here was overall terrible.

At first service was good. We placed our orders and it came pretty quickly. After several bites and being checked in our servers, my partner had threw up her good after finding a moth in her garden crêpe. We could not complete out meals as we were utterly disgusted. We will never eat there again. Even though we were waived of the bill but that does not excuse the fact that a moth was discovered. Who knows what else we could have already consumed. I will not be going there again.

I ate at this ihop a while back and I will never return. While eating a mouse was running around the dining room. A guy came out of the kitchen with a wet floor sign and chased the mouse around. Finally he caught him… smashed him with the sign. Gross.

Good neighborhood area place. If you like breakfast any time of day. iti’s moderate in price and better than Aramingo Diner. way better.

IHOP’s snazzy commercials with the foot tapping music always amazed me, so the day I finally managed to get to an IHOP was a happy day for me, to say the least. I went in with high expectations and was a little disappointed. I went to IHOP on the Wednesday after Christmas which explained the holiday music that was softly playing in the background, but who doesn’t love holiday music? At around 10:00 — 10:30, the restaurant was not crowded at all. This restaurant is a part of a larger plaza so the parking was super fantastic. The moment I stepped into the IHOP, I was met with bright smiles and warm greetings. The overall atmosphere and attitude of the waiter and waitresses here are so pleasant, but maybe a little too pleasant. At times, the waitress was a bit too over bearing, but her friendliness allowed me to over look this small factor. The people in the restaurant were definitely nice, but the actual restaurant and infrastructure could have used more work. Now for the nasty critiquing part… The utensils were missing from the table and they had to be asked for, the pancakes were a little denser than I would have liked them to be, and I wished that I had toast with my sunny side up eggs. Overall, I loved the friendly people but the actual food and building could have used a little work. But hey, if you’re looking for a quick, decent meal, and you’re in the area then I would definitely stop by!

I’ve come to this iHop several times. It was convenient to my home which is why I continued to come here after a couple bad experiences with servers. Saeed is the best! Had him the last few times and changed my outlook on this location.

Till this day I’ve NEVER had a pleasant experience with ANY of the IHOP’s I go to!!! This one included. 1) Don’t go there on busy holidays. My trip was Mother’s day. LONGWAIT, staff was not pleasant and you can tell they didn’t want to be there on a Sunday. 2) Don’t go there hungry because you won’t see your food(if they get the order right) for about 1−½ hrs!!! 3) Attitude city from(ghetto) customers complaining about food and horrible service. I can go on but I’ll let you judge for yourself. I am NOT an IHOP fan nor ever will be. I’ll support my local diner first for better pancakes & service.

Let me increase the rating on this establishment. First off, the staffs were accomodating. I did not encounter any problem. The service pace was timely. We just like going here for our breakfast while in Philly.

After a nasty encounter with the hostesses of Sabrina’s and a heart-wrenchingly long line at Honey’s, my honey & I decided to throw caution to the wind. Located the closest IHOP and made a bee line to Aramingo Ave. It was around 2ish in the afternoon on a Saturday or Sunday, and to our delight, we walked in and got a table right away. Sadly, our naïve happiness could not last. We were seated right next to the bathroom where an employee was diligently swishing around sickening bleach water. You know, the kind you see Septa maintenance sloshing around the subway with a dark gray mop. We asked to sit a little further away from this nightmare, and we were alright for a few minutes before the smell found us. Again. On the bright side, we had a bizarrely terrific server, and the sight of all the happy northeast families eating highly processed foods around us gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. But at the end of the day, IHOP is just a big cafeteria with that kind of climate and that kind of food. We knew what we were getting ourselves into, and we wanted it – but not the weapons of chemical warfare emanating from the bathroom. IHOP in the hood is IHOP in the hood, but damn it guys, do you have to kill us while we’re there?!
