I also received one of the most thorough and complete eye exams, with one of their optometrists.
The staff is always, without fail, available: for any issues or problems, that may arise.
Their selections of quality eyewear, is beyond belief.
I am very glad Inner Vision is here in town.

Terrible customer service. Went to have my sunglasses adjusted to fit my face better. The guy upstairs gave me a dirty look and told me there is nothing he could do about the fit. Really? Used his hands to adjust the nose part a bit and left it all crooked and uneven in 2 seconds. Granted I didn’t buy my sunglasses there, but I have previously bought glasses from them. All glasses place I been to would adjust your frames for free even if you didn’t buy it from there. I have had way better service at Sunglasses Hut and this is supposed to be a high end place. They sell all their frames at full price. You can find them all online at half the price.

Public service announcement: don’t come here for a contact lens fitting. I have in network insurance and my copay was $ 169!!! Go to for eyes down the street… they are much more reasonably priced. I will say that Innervision’s eye glasses looked really nice, but I already have a pair that suits my fancy.

I first stopped by Innervision because they work with my insurance and have some good reviews. I was glad I went, because they were able to get a same-​day appointment in for me for an eye exam. The doctor was nice and detailed in the exam. I was immediately assisted with choosing glasses after the exam. They have a pretty decent selection of quality brands, and also feature a Philadelphia based company, Philadelphia EyeWorks that has inexpensive and quirky frames.
I ended up picking frames from Philadelphia EyeWorks for my regular glasses. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that Philadelphia EyeWorks doesn’t work with insurance companies, so I paid out of pocket for them, but it was still a good deal. They didn’t have what I was looking for in terms of prescription sunglasses, so I ended up purchasing those somewhere else, but it’s understandable as I’m a bit picky and not many frames work with my face!
I almost forgot to mention, they had my glasses ready within one hour! A very nice plus.

Great Experience at Innervision Eyewear. The staff was very knowledgeable and Dr Anderson did a fantastic job.
About the exam:
Dr Peterson was very thorough. He took his time and asked about past medical history. I didn’t feel rushed like I have at other eye centers. Oh, and I didn’t have to wait to see the Dr. very long, I had an appointment so I guess that helped.
In terms of pricing, I went it for an annual eye exam and contact lens fitting. My insurance covered part of the exam. However, I’m giving them four starts because I was told the exam would be 50 dollars and was charged 100 when checking out. According to the receptionist, I have astigmatism so the eye exam is more expensive. They should probably let me know about the price change before continuing with the contact lens fitting. I didn’t much appreciate the price change without the notification.

I like Innervision for a couple reasons. First and foremost they have excellent customer service. Secondly, they have a great selection of frames at different price points. They have a trendy line that I believe is made in Philly that is $ 100 and includes lenses and frames. They also carry designer brands such as Oliver Peoples and Salt. I bought a pair of glasses there a couple years ago and had to update my prescription. Instead of buying a new pair of frames, they simply switched out the lenses saving me a ton of money. They also had them ready in under 2 hours. Highly recommended!

I bought the deal at
: $ 73 for an eye exam and $ 200 towards frames and lenses. I asked the customer service whether I could use my own frame, and they said yes, so I bought the deal. (Btw, I didn’t buy the deal immediately, but have checked it from time to time, and livingsocial lowered the price to $ 65 for me.)
I never had eye exam at other places in Philadelphia, but I feel it’s pretty good. The doctor was very professional. Although some other reviews say that they are expensive, but after the $ 200 discount, the price is very reasonable. They didn’t really give me any choices for what kind of lenses I want though. They added the ARC coating for me, but the price is $ 110 after using the $ 200, which I think is very reasonable. So I’m glad that they add the coating. I went to another highly rated optician, with price denoted «$» instead of «$$$» at Unilocal,for a second pair of glasses at the same day. They also charge me $ 175 (=$ 110+65) for the lenses, but without eye exams.
FYI, I don’t particularly have any eye issues besides having myopia, with –3.0 for left eye and –4.25 for right eye. An optician said it’s pretty easy for the lenses.
Let me do some comparison between the two opticians.
Innervision has very good eye exams, but for the glasses fitting, they just took my frame and measured my eyes by a staff (not an optician I suppose) using a device similar to this one:
However at the other optician, the optician measured my eyes using various ways and double check every step, and she also let me put on the frame and adjust it for me. Telling me that my eyelashes may touch the lenses and let me try a similar pair with dummy lenses and see how it feels. She was very professional and very much friendly.
It takes 1 – 2 days to get the glasses ordered for both places. I paid full prices in advance at Innervision, but I paid for the glasses when I picked it up at the other optician. I think it’s just a difference between large and small opticians, but surely I think the other optician I went to cared more about their customers.
So the conclusion is, if you have a frame you know it definitely works. It’s not a bad deal at all to get the eye exam and the lenses at Innervision, especially if you get the livingsocial or groupon deal. I think it’s a pretty decent optician.

One of the better selections available to choose from and the staff there was very patient with me. I stopped in 3 separate times. They didn’t take my particular insurance, but I ended going with them anyways (out of network) because they had the frames I wanted and the service was great.

I got lasik about 3 years ago (going from –8.5 blind as a bat to ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision) but noticed that over the last few years, the crispness wore off a little bit. I was having trouble seeing road signs in low light and I couldn’t read the small print in distant Powerpoint presentations. I was warned that I may need reading glasses at some point, and several other of my post-​lasik friends admitted to having the same issues and having to buy glasses.
I saw the Groupon from Innervision being offered and they had great reviews. I purchased the $ 50 for $ 200 off glass + eye exam deal and scheduled my appointment online. It was scheduled the next day, convenient, and they sent several text/​email confirmations. There wasn’t a wait for the eye exam, and the doctor was super nice, very thorough and didn’t do the evil glaucoma eye puff. We went over my history and what to expect in the future with my vision. My mother has glaucoma and she recommended yearly visits plus other health recommendations for my eyes/​body and why they would be beneficial (vitamins, prescription sunglasses, etc.)
The glasses buying procedure was fun. I tried on several frames, and they helped me narrow down styles to fit my face and what I needed for work (black, trendy but not too thick of a frame). The salesgirl was bringing over styles that I initially bypassed because she is a customized eyeglass fitting expert and I am not :). Once we found a style that suited my face shape and eyes, we looked for similar styles in my price range. We finally settled on a great pair, and they were ready for pick up within 2 hours!
I highly recommend them and I look forward to seeing them next year.

My experience at Innervision was top notch. On a snowy cold weekend a few weeks ago (2÷15÷14), I decided to trek into Philly and research eyewear boutiques. Innervision was on my list so I started there. My first impression was positive. Immediate attention shortly after walking in the door that was not pushy or overbearing.
The space was airy, simple, with clean lines & organized. Their eyewear collection is vast from glasses to sunshades as well as modern, contemporary & advant garde. Whatever your style, color options and price range, you’ll find here. They have glasses both upstairs and downstairs. Also, upstairs is a small waiting for the Optometrist. The customer service gets an A+ for attentiveness, no pushy sales tactics and seemed honest when I tried on glasses hat wee not flattering.
Although, I was pleased with what they offered, I did explain that I wanted to explore a few more area eyewear shops. Even after saying that I still found the owner to be personable and welcomed my return after «looking around». Needless to say I returned. Was able to get an eye exam and select the perfect frames for me… Actually found a couple pair of glasses that I liked but settled on a fun pair of red retro glasses, reminiscent of circa 1960s or 1970s. Something about them reminded me of Lucille Ball (loved her humor). However, I asked them to save information in the computer on another more conservative pair for other «boring & stiff occasions» in my life.
Let me say the Optometrist, Dr. Georgietta Gdovin, was personable, took time doing the exam and explained various aspects of the eye along the way. She makes you feel relaxed and open to ask questions.
I received the glasses within 10 days of ordering and was excited to see if I was still as in Awe as when I tried them on… The Verdict= Yes, Yes…
So, I would highly recommend Innervision if you are in the market for eyeglass or sunglasses, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The staff and doctor are very helpful and professional. I found a pair I absolutely loved but they ended up cracking basically in half…3 different times. The staff always replaced them for free but after the third time, we admitted defeat. Turns out this particular frame is defective. I picked out a new pair at no additional charge and they were apologetic. Beautiful shop with lots of options.

Innervision carries higher end brands than places like Pearle & ForEyes, so there tends to be a more diverse selection to choose from — i.e. you won’t walk out with grandpa glasses unless you absolutely WANT grandpa glasses. You might spend more (although they do participate in insurance plans — by the time I’d gotten to them I’d spent my allowance at Pearle, note below), however their real value is their service & attention to detail.
I needed progressive bifocal lenses and Pearle (while on my health plan) screwed them up twice in a row. Fed up, I went to Innervision and they took the time to measure my focal zones correctly and and grind the lenses so the glasses were correct.
THEN, four years later my right lens broke, they still had the specs on file from the previous order & made a new one at a reasonable cost — and did the left lens as well so they matched at no extra charge. Even with a high end product line, this business understands customer service & value. I’m very pleased with Innervision.

Innervision was the BEST glasses experience I have ever had! The DR was very nice and understanding that I act like a 5 year old when I get an eye exam. She was probably the best and quickest exam I have ever had.
The ladies who work the front were so helpful and sweet. I can kind of be a pain looking for glasses since I have to wear them every single day for years to come, but they dealt with me being picky. They worked with me on a price of the pairs I wanted since my insurance doesn’t cover nicer glasses. They really went out of their way to help me get all 3 pairs I loved at a fair price. I also got my glasses only a few hours later!

I wandered by this place several years ago. I’d always noticed the great, unique frames in the window, and because I’d been having trouble with a small part on my glasses, I stopped by to see if the optician could help me. A few minutes later he emerged, having replaced the part and cleaned my glasses, adjusted them, all at no charge. So, the next time I needed glasses I came here, and my whole family has been using them since. Every single person has been great. The service is phenomenal. My son has had problems with a frame and they have repeatedly helped us out. They take insurance, and will even talk to the insurance company for you if there’s a problem. This place is really terrific. The selection of frames is terrific, and many I’ve never seen anywhere else.
In the heart of Center City, we usually have fun walking around the shops and getting lunch after a visit here.

I bought an Amazon deal for a free eye exam and 150 toward frames. I am so pleased! I love my new glasses and everyone there was so nice and helpful, the doctor especially. I even walked out with the anti-​reflective coating and immediately regretted it. I contacted them and they told me that since I had bought my eyeglasses today, I could come in and receive the upgrade for the original $ 85, rather than the more expensive post-​purchase fee. I’m so glad I got this Amazon deal!

Purchased a living social deal, and I’m so pleased with the service I received here. The doc checked me out and gave me a referral for further help with a problem she discovered. The girls who work in the store helped me pick out new glasses without making me feel bad since I was so indecisive. I actually kind of had fun picking them out! They use an email system to contact you when your glasses are ready for pick up, it’s very convenient.

Good service– friendly and professional. The staff is very knowledgeable. I went back again to get my glasses adjusted with no problems. They were responsive to my e-​mails as well. Fantastic place though a bit pricey. I would come back.

I went back with my prescription from my eye exam and the employee remembered me and remembered which frames she thought looked best on my face. I ordered them and in less than a week I had my new glasses! Wow, I can read street signs now! I get a lot of compliments on my glasses and everyone says that they are very «me.»
Also — I saw a news special about how one company in Italy has a monopoly over the entire eyeglass industry and I was pleased to learn that Innervision carries only brands that are not a part of that company.

Now that plenty of people have seen my cool specs at events its high time that I gave it up to the spot that made them possible.
After coming across the same impressive Living Social deal as Jayna I decided to give in to the fact that I was loooong overdue for another pair of glasses. And out of that deal I came across what might just be the best optometrists in the Philly area.
The eye exam was extremely efficient and done in a blink of eye (literally since it probably would have been done sooner if I hadn’t of blinked a couple of times). When it came to style all I knew was that I wanted something slightly hipsterish (don’t judge me because I was going off of Rivers Cuomo’s style!). And out of the many different varieties they were able to help me narrow it down to the perfect geek chic variety.
Compared to a lot of other places the prices on frames were a lot more reasonable. Another bonus is how fast Innervision is with delivery. Instead of waiting for a couple of days I was given the option of picking up the glasses about an hour after my exam. If that doesn’t show good service I don’t know what does!

I walked in and said «I’m looking for wooden frames.» (I like to start trends. It never works.) And she was like «we have a couple of faux wooden frames… is that cool enough?» And pulled out a like 8 examples which was so great since this was the 6^th eyeglass store and all the other ones did not carry anything close to wooden. So clearly Innervision is up with trends (or rather, my taste). Word.
Nice and helpful without being pushy. It’s a great place to get very cool and fun frames. Decent size selection– more than Pearle Vision or Eye Candy Vision– maybe close to the same as Modern Eye without the weird one-​eyed mannequins.
Funnily, I have Davis Vision insurance and you can get free frames but they’re very specific and the insurance companies send them to the retailers and so every retailer has close to the same kind of frames. These frames are like totally blah compared to what Innervision likes to carry. So, the rack for those eyeglasses were like shoved in the back corner of this store. I like a store that recognized how uncool 80% of those frames are. hahaha! Made me smile.
Good place to get hipstery type of frames. Love it! One customer who had perfect vision walked in and bought a $ 200 pair of the Geek eyeglasses just to have as an accessory. Awesome.
