Jennifer Muller, VMD

I can’t say enough good things about Jen. She is highly professional, prompt, very caring and really just an all around great person and vet. She has come to my home on two ocassions to treat my dogs and it was a much more pleasant (as much as can be expected!) and humane experience for the dogs than the traumatizing trip to the regular vet.

Very good service is provided by Dr Muller, She really takes her time and really loves pet. My puppy loves her and her assistant and is very calm when getting examined. I would recommend using Dr muller. It very hard to find people that really care about what they are doing and she does.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Muller. We called her because one of our cats developed a UTi overnight, which can be deadly if it is left too long. She came the same day that I called and was right on time. She and her assistant spent an hour with us, talking to us about our cats, learning their histories (even for the ones they weren’t treating that day!) and just generally being very lovely to be around. They were really comforting while still giving us all of the information we needed. They were able to give us prescriptions for our cat’s condition on the spot and even gave him the first pill for us to save us the hassle. Her rates are very reasonable for a housecall vet, and she is very knowledgeable and good with our animals. I would recommend her extremely highly to anyone and everyone.

UPDATE: We asked Dr. Muller (Jen) to look at our dog, Tyler, because he’d been coughing. She did a chest x-​ray and some bloodwork, which were normal. Suggested an ultrasound because she thought something wasn;t right. The ultrasound revealed that a tumor on his heart had caused a fluid buildup that had collapsed one of the chambers. She sent us to a specialist who performed a minimally invasive procedure that drained the fluid and probably saved his life. She returns phone calls after 9 p.m. at night, she could not be more attentive. And did I mention the part about saving our dog’s life?

I hired Dr. Muller after reading an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer. She’d been named «vet of the year.» I was highly disappointed. She is afraid of dogs. She showed up late for appointments and did not call to say she was running late. She forgot equipment (stethoscope, rabies tags & certifications) and supplies. She delayed appointments for several weeks. I’m sure she is wonderful person and an excellent animal advocate but she is not the best practitioner.
