I have been seeing Dr. Harryhill since the early 1990s– I have 4 other specialists(all good) but, Dr. Harryhill is an «exceptional» Urologist & a special person-! He exudes self confidence as well as a kind, warm caring manner. He knows gis field.& he knows how to treat people. I have had a procedure with him, in 2002– where he had to «scope» my urethra– due to blood in my urine– My cousin had it done & said how«terrible» it was-! Well, I had it done by Dr. Harryhill.& it was not all that bad– He was verbally«taking me thru» the procedure .step by step– & at the end– assured me. I was – OK.- I have a «slow» urine stream– with some retention– Dr. Harryhill… explains everything in detail– I can not speak highly enough about this wonderful Physician…& person-! I am blessed to have him as my urologist-! Richard

My experience with most Philadelphia specialists is that they are patient mills, constructed to see as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time. Frankly, when my wonderful primary physician sent me to see Dr. Harryhill, I expected the same. My initial reaction upon arrival was not great. The person who processed my insurance info and copay was curt and efficient, but bordering on rude. However, once I got past the front desk and into the back. .. what an amazing operation! This is a wonderful medical practitioners office, but it is also the office of an amazing practitioner of customer service. Usually when I see a specialist and test results have been sent to them, they look at those results for the first time when they see me for the first time. Not Dr. Harryhill. It was obvious that he had spent time carefully perusing the test results and gave me great detail about the findings. He is personable, kind and obviously loves what he does. When he called me to give me more test results, I was unable to answer, so he left a message. I’ve NEVER received a more detailed explanation of test results! All I can say is — if you find yourself in need of a urologist –(and I hope you don’t). .. check out Dr. Harryhill. This must be the kind of medical service our parents and grandparents received — back before medicine became the big business, big dollar industry it has now become. So what if the person at the front desk confuses curt and efficient with professionalism. .. the rest of the staff will blow you away.
