Glad I found this place last minute on a Sunday – one thing that’s nice about a salon! I called ahead to make a reservation but it seems like walk-​ins are welcome too. Things I hope for when I get my hair cut, they take time to really wash my hair, they pay attention to the style of cut I ask for, and make sure to check their work even after styling. Ladies were pleasant and friendly and parking was plentiful on the street. Not sure what it’ll look like on a weekday. Great affordable price for my wash, cut, and style. I will definitely come back.

Linda was my stylist and completely rocked me a new «do». She has such a sense of what makes sense and holds a great conversation. The highlights she chose for me were just perfect.
Sophia is completely personable and accommodating.

Wow wow wow. Can’t say anything bad about this place. Linda and Sofia and (the other girl I forgot her name) are AWESOME. They both help you get what you ask for and they are friendly and over the top helpful to what it is your trying to do for your hair. If I could afford to go every week I would. And I am VERYYYYY picky about my hair. But I love this place.

I don’t go get my hair done that often, but it was in serious need of help. The ends were all dead and it looked like a rat’s nest at the bottom. I planned to go to Starshine Salon which is great, but they couldn’t take me for like 3 or 4 weeks. I was desperate to get a cut in a place that wouldn’t look down on me too much. I Unilocaled around and found this place. I was able to call and get an appointment same day with Sofia (or Sophia? not sure how to spell it). Anyways, it was fantastic. It’s a small little salon with maybe 4 or 5 chairs but it does the job. She was very sweet and kind and she did an amazing job cutting my hair. She was also very respectful about what I wanted. She would frequently check in with me to see if I was ok with the length, or if I wanted to be styled, and what tools would be ok for her to use on my hair. I just really enjoyed the whole experience. I was almost hesitant to write a review because I didn’t want this place to become too popular, but they deserve it. Great service and great price and I got a really really nice cut. My husband loved it :)

Sooo, I am relatively new to Philly and had not found my salon home. I did go to another salon back in July after several months of debating where to go. The cut was very nice, except I sort of ruined it with my 30 volume peroxide and color last month. It was time for a change anyway. I needed to be brought up to date, and I needed a cut that was complimentary to me, my lifestyle and the time I was willing to put into styling it! Tough, you say? Probably, but not for this salon!
My appointment was with Laura, who at first said, «We will do whatever you want.» That’s nice, so what if I don’t KNOW what I want?! I had mentioned that I needed someone who wasn’t afraid to be innovative, and who could ascertain quickly who I was in a short consult and then deliver on the ideas discussed. I was definitely not disappointed. It was like she had been secretly present in every consult I had ever had with other stylists in the last 5 years… things I wanted, things I thought would look good that others disagreed with. It wasn’t like I said it first, and then she echoed it. No. She said it first, and I was thinking, OMG, where have you been all my life?!
We agreed the ends had to go… and maybe a couple of inches since I did a significant amount of damage to it with the last coloring and didn’t bother to moisturize like I should have. She had the idea of an inverted cut. What?! I always loved that cut on other women! It was very edgy and stylish! She did an amazing job, and I had so much fun styling it the next day.
You know, a great cut and style brings out your personality and makes you shine. Parts of you that you were unaware existed can be brought to the surface! I am so glad I found this salon, and delighted to have found Laura. I like the fact that she did a consult with me to learn about me, how I live my life and what of cut and style would suit me best. I can’t wait for her to do my color! When a salon makes you look fantastic, you feel it all the way to your bones… and it contagious to others, too!

I went here for the first time after my boyfriend told me he went here for a few haircuts. I wanted a quick trim and possibly a up-​do for the wedding I was attending that evening! Linda was amazing! My up do was beyond my expectations. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted but she worked some serious magic and listened to my few preferences and ran with it! Everyone complimented my hair at the wedding! I felt like I had better hair than the bridesmaids actually! The price was so reasonable I will definitely go back! I am so excited to find a hair gem in Manayunk! All the ladies there also seemed very nice but Linda was awesome!

Great place! Do men’s and women’s haircuts. Low prices. Flexible to accept walk-​ins. They even did the up-​do for my wedding!

Everyone was so friendly! I needed a basic cut/​trim up and Nooshin did exactly what I asked for. Some stylists take off WAY too much, ignoring your requests. But Nooshin took off just the right amount. Very nicely styled too! I am so thrilled with my haircut and I will definitely be back!

My hair look AMAZING! Sophia did a wonderful job on my hair. Definitely travel back to PA to get my hair done again.

Nice place to get a cut or color. The staff is nice and the shop looks clean.

I really liked this Salon for a basic cut, and I plan to come back whenever I need a trim or my bangs cleaned up. I’m sure they’d be great for more difficult cuts or color as well, I just personally have a friend who I go to for those. The women working were very friendly as well.

High quality hair dressers :) I love going there to get my hair once every two weeks. Love the style of my hair cut everytime. Highly recommended to everyone
