I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews! Pros: A very efficient salon. Started my manicure pretty fast and were done quickly. The quality of the gel seems great, considering it didn’t chip even till 4 weeks. Cons: The staff were talking to each other in their native language which seemed a bit rude. Their UV light machines seem to sting my hands a bit, I don’t know if my skin is sensitive or everyone experiences that. The lady who did my manicure also pulled my dead skin a bit too hard a few times — she could’ve been more careful. Despite the cons, its an efficient and clean place super close to where I live so I would go back for sure.

I recently has a somewhat traumatic experience at this nail salon. I realized at the end of my manicure that I had accidentally left my credit card at home. Not an ideal situation for anyone… I felt terrible. They were closing down for the day too. I offered to run home– leave my bag– and grab the card or pay for the service(plus a very generous tip) the next day. I truly felt really bad. They insisted that I had to leave my iPhone until I had given them payment. I said no way. I had never been to the salon before and I did not feel comfortable leaving it with them plus I am in my mid 20s… it’s not safe walking around philly without a phone. I ended up having to call a friend who lives in the suburbs(30 plus minutes away) to pick me up… and they charged $ 50 while the service cost $ 33. Honestly I was just happy to leave. I have never felt so uncomfortable.

The best pedicure I have ever had! I would go over and over again if I didn’t live in California.

I visited this Gallery nail salon(street level off of 10th street) at lunchtime on a Thursday in preparation for a wedding I was in the next day for a mani-pedi. I only had to wait 15 minutes and was in and out with dry nails in an hour. They have a great color selection and did a fine job on both my hands and feet, though they could have spent more time with my tootsies and the pumice stone. The pedicure turned out great, my toe nails still look spectacular weeks later. However, my fingernail polish started to chip within two days. It was an OPI color so I was really surprised. I work in an office, so it is not as if I was exposing my hands to the elements. If this salon invests in a more protective top coat, I’d be back, or maybe next time, I would bring my own!

This is the nail salon on the street level of Market East, across Old Navy and Lady Foot Locker. I have been a customer of Lisa(owner), when she was at the salon on 9th Street. I started going to her in 1997!!! Yes, 1997. She opened Le’Nails, and I have been a customer of Le’Nails since the opening. I have my nails done weekly(yes, weekly) because I need to have well-groomed hands for my job. I always get a manicure, and sometimes(when a nail breaks), I get a silk wrap or gel. During the summer, I get a pedicure every other week. In the winter, I get a pedicure once a month. I always go to this salon. They are the best. The salon is clean, the nail techs do excellent work, the prices are a good value, and the staff are friendly and professional.(I actually think she could charge more, but who am I to complain about the low price?) Lisa hires only the best techs with experience, and she keeps an excellent choice of polish colors. They always stock the newest OPI polish colors, but they also keep a supply of more traditional colors. I also like the fact that I rarely have to wait to have my nails done. I like to walk-in and be immediately seated. I don’t like to wait, or to have to make an appointment. I have tried other salons in the city, including high-end salons in Rittenhouse and Center City, but I always end up going back to this salon. I really believe this is the best nail salon in the city.

One of the worst nail salons I have ever been too. I got a gel manicure, and left with polish all over my cuticles and fingers. Then, the next day it started to peel off. I have had gel from other nail salons and not a chip for over two weeks. I went back and demanded them to re-do it, and they were very apologetic. It took longer for them to re-do it then it did in the first place. Then, one day later I got a chip on my nail. I just want my money back at this point, and am so disappointed with the entire experience. The people were very nice, but the quality of the products is terrible. I would not go here ever again.

If you are looking for an afforable french manicure like no other… then look no further. Ask for Vicki! I dont use acrylic or gel on my nails because I like the look and feel of nautral nails. I wanted to treat myself to a french manicure, I usually opt for a more colorful manicure. Vicki made my nails look AH-mazing. I think the best thing is when your real nails look like they are fake. Call me crazy, but it’s the mark of a good manicure for me. It’s been 5 days and they are still perfect. For 18 $ my hands look like a million bucks! I wish I could post a picture to prove it!

I pay 8 dollars for a lady of unknown far eastern extraction to pull my eyebrows out and push too hard on my eyes even though I say I have contacts in. They(my brows) always come out exactly how I want them tho. Ask for Maggie she’s awesome.

This is a review of the Le Nails on the STREETLEVEL of the Gallery Mall near the 10th Street entrance. I had a mani pedi($ 35 for both, $ 12 mani, $ 25 pedi) yesterday and«Lisa» at table 1(they have 9 mani stations and 5 pedi thrones) did a nice job. While I am still leery of pedicures and santitation, it «seemed» OK here. They use OPI polish and decent base & top coats. The pedi inculded a short exfoliation with scrub and a decent massage. I would not RUN back here, but if I need a manicure and am nearby I will return.
