Came in to look for a few Christmas gifts. I must have smelled every scent and the sales clerk was very patient. She made thoughtful recommendations and I really appreciated how she did not rush me.

Okay, this place is very expensive. And I’m not one to spend a lot of money on beauty supplies, but L’Occitane is a different story. The products they sell here are just so good that I’m willing to spend more than $ 20 on hand lotion or $ 50 on lavender perfume(just every once in a while). And, when you give them your information and email address, they’ll send you product samples in the mail and announcements about sales, so it’s more affordable. The reason they get 5 stars, though, is their customer service. The staff are always very helpful in recommending products and really know what they’re talking about. They also occasionally offer free facials using their products. I actually received one of these facials tonight, and it was great! The staff member used their exfoliant on my skin and then applied various serums and lotions, and then she gave me free samples of the products she recommended most for my skin type. It was really nice to be able to try out their products in this way, and I felt in no way pressured to buy any of the products tonight.

They are really picky about who they hire and it shows. I have never had subpar service here. As a matter of fact for a year or so I was solely using their Shea/milk vegetable soap because everything else was making me itch(twas a rough winter!) and they all practically knew me! It’s conveniently located as well. I would always pop in before or after a visit at Body Restoration. I stopped shopping here because they discontinued my favorite honey scent. I have a stockpile of honey soap, candles and eau de toilette. The candle is crazy good. Like you are burning a pot of honey. Craziness why they stopped I have no idea. Maybe it has to do with the honeybees disappearing?

Although i have never been to this location, i can tell you I LOVE this product line. Espically the verbena line. L’occiatne has wonderful products and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Nad if you order on line or have something shipped from the store it comes lightening fast! I mostly shop on line or go to the one at KOP, it was the only one in PA for a long time. I love shopping in them in Paris(there is one practically on every corner there)

I happen to really like L’Occitane’s Shea butter based products and the Verbena fragrance line, so I was/am pleased that the Walnut Street boutique is near my office. At holiday time they have some good deals — although I was able to snag the hand cream trio CHEAPER at Sephora down the block — slightly different packaging — same great products inside. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Smaller than some of the other L’Occitane boutiques, this location isn’t lacking anything. After a myriad of visits, I’m convinced of the strong efforts of this store’s management excellence in inculcating good customer service and expertise on the staff. I’m a L’Occitane aficionado for all the toiletry items in my ski condo. They stock all the Verbena products which I like for my guests. An excellent place to shop in the Rittenhouse area.

Good place to go to pick up some products for a little self T.L.C. This charming little boutique on Walnut offers the finest bath and beauty products and good customer service. It’s not something that I would use everyday, because of the price. But it’s definitely an instant«pick me up» on a gray day. The natural scents are marvelous, darling. I love the bath products and there is nothing better than languishing in an hour long bath of their Honey Harvest foaming bubble bath. And I swear, I instantly feel softer all over after using the shea butter bath crème. I have not tried their massage products, but they smell so yummy in the store. Also, I love the organic bar soaps. Give the place a try!
