Meet the Business Owner

Kevin S.

Business Owner

Kevin Shapiro has been designing under the Mae Downs & Co. label for more than 25 years. Starting in the fashion industry and moving on to home accessories, his collections have been sold in many fine boutiques, including Nan Duskin, Henri Bendel, Linda Golden and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Mae Downs was Kevin’s great aunt, who greatly inspired him to pursue a career in design. All of the Mae Downs & Co. designs are made by Kevin in Philadelphia. A great deal of research and time goes into everything that is created. Only the finest fabrics and supplies are used.
