Ashley has been tremendous. She has helped me with my black lab puppy for over a year and a half now. It’s obvious Ashley cares about her, and for anyone who is a dog owner, you know that is the yardstick. I have absolute trust that Ashley will look out for the best interest of my dog. Ashley is easily accessible over text and is able to adapt to my fluid schedule. She has yet to let me down once. I can’t recommend her enough.

I’ve been using Manayunk Pooch Scoochers for a year now. Austin and Ashley do a wonderful job. They are very responsive and communicate quickly when plans change, etc. I also get notes and texts to let me know how my puppy was when they visited. They are very accommodating if you need to change up your schedule or need a last minute walk. I would highly recommend them.

We have been extremely pleased with Manayunk Pooch Scoochers, and our dog has been even happier. They are reliable and very accommodating to last minute changes or requests and provide lots of feedback such as texts and photos. Over the past few months our dog has developed a significant illness, and they have shown genuine concern for his well being, even checking daily over the holiday break to see how he was doing. Although we do not have experience with other dog walkers, it would be hard to imagine a more responsive service starting from the introductory visit and continuing to every interaction. Although this is obviously a business, it is clear that it is not just about money, but rather a genuine love of pets and their well being. I can recommend Manayunk Pooch Scoochers without reservation.

I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience with MPS! They accommodate last minute requests and send pics of my pup on the walk. I couldn’t ask for better customer service!

We’ve been using Manayunk Pooch Scoochers since October 2013 and couldn’t be happier! Austin is great and we’re so thankful he introduced us to Ashley. We interviewed several walking services and knew right away that we were in great hands with these two based on how they interacted with our puppy right off the bat. Ashley has been our walker since day 1 and is our Rhodesian Ridgeback’s best friend.
She spoils not only our puppy but us too. She is always prompt, takes great care of our pup, leaves the best notes, and sends us the cutest pictures during her visits. If our puppy is feeling sick Ashley will even text us status updates just to put us at ease.
This winter has had so many snow storms, yet it’s never been a problem for them to get to us in East Falls. Ashley checks in with us the night before a storm to let us know she’s available if we need her. We love how proactive she is… it’s one less thing for us to worry about knowing she cares so much about our dog :)

i wouldnt recommend this service to anyone. i called them two times months ahead of when i needed their services and both times got voicemail and my calls werent returned. no way id entrust them with my pet. they deserve the one star rating im giving them.

I am so disappointed to see that Austin and his crew only got 4.5 stars. Austin took care of my two dogs for 5 years until they both passed. He was always reliable and went above and beyond the call of duty! One of my pups became too arthritic to walk and he put her in the radio flyer wagon I bought for her everyday and wheeled her outside so she could enjoy the outdoors. He lifted her 60lb body in and out of that wagon so she do her business. When my other dog was nearing his end he had surgery and couldn’t walk at all. Austin did his very best for almost two months to help walk him and try to rehab his injured leg. Let me assure it was not only heartbreaking it was an incredibly difficult endeavor. When my first one passed on he brought me flowers.
Austin truly loves his dogs. He even posts pics of them on his website.
I am so grateful that I found him to care for my dogs when I couldn’t be around. My pups were lucky to have him!
If I could give him 10 stars I would.

So I felt awful writing my scathing review and feel even worse now that we received a very gracious email from the owner apologizing for what happened. Our particular walker ended up being fired, however, I still wonder how many walks were actually completed. Oh well…

Still loving Austin — almost three years now that he’s walking my pooches. He always comes, always leaves a note, and always take great care of my house and my pups. I love how I can schedule him in advance or sometimes last minute. He’s the best!
