History
Established in 1979.
In 1979, founding partner, George Martin was fired from the law firm he was working for because he had to leave at 5 p.m. to pick up his two young children he was raising. Forty-eight hours later, he found office space and opened his practice representing injured workers, because no one else wanted to handle workers’ compensation. The practice started at the Lewis Tower Building in Philadelphia, where George shared the suite with 3 other attorneys. George had a staff of one — his secretary. The first couple of years were a struggle, but George did not waiver from his vision of doing the right thing for injured workers, often working for free when he thought the client was in worse financial shape than himself. Today the Firm has over 60 employees and more than 20,000 square feet and serves thousands of clients. Although the Firm has consistently grown, the philosophy has never been about a destination, but about the journey.
