Ryan McCann was our realtor and he was helpful through the process. We did the work of finding the houses that we wanted because even though Ryan did set up alerts through the MLS service, they just never seemed to meet all of our criteria. Although we weren’t in a huge rush to buy so soon, Ryan was very motivated to help us buy quickly. Once we did find a place we liked, he worked really hard to make sure we got it for a price we could afford. Overall, it was a good experience and we are very happy in our new home.

Ryan sold our house in 3 days — what more can I say?! He also did not pressure us to sell below what we felt it was worth. We actually ended up pricing it a little higher than we had originally planned. Ryan was also very easy to work with, and the process was very smooth, including the inspection and negotiation surrounding some minor issues that were found. We also moved out of state before closing, and did not have to attend the closing which was very helpful (docusign). All in all, the McCann team got the job done and for my money, they are the best RE team in Philly.

I interviewed three different agents when I decided to sell my home, and Ryan McCann stood out as soon as I met him. He was enthusiastic, savvy and realistic, which is what I really needed. This was my first time selling a home and I felt confident having him on my side, and I really appreciated the way he managed my expectations. He was also extremely attentive and readily available whenever I had questions or concerns. Using his advice I was able to get my home under contract with a full price offer in only 8 days, and settled a little more than a month after listing. Ryan and the McCann team were awesome, every step of the way. I’d recommend him to anyone in the market to buy or sell a home in Philly.

I called on Mike McCann last November to sell my condo. My wife and I were moving out of town in January and we needed someone to help us sell the place and continue that process after we left. Mike was selected as a result of many positive reviews on Zillow and the like, which he later revealed that he paid to maintain as a part of his advertising. Of course, this was after the deal was set. For the initial asking price of the house, we set the price towards the upper end of the recommended spectrum and came down on price every time the agent asked us to. We listed with Mike through the following August. Over the months that we lived in the condo, we had an open house roughly ever week at Mike’s recommendation and this continued to our dismissal of Mike at the end of July.
Through the whole process, after the first day we signed Mike, we never saw him again. He operated near exclusively via text and never got on the phone. When there were open houses, we would station ourselves at our favorite coffee shop across the street and in that time we definitely never saw Mike. He outsources everything to assistants and has no real hands on operations. With an open house roughly every week from November through August, my guess is he never again set foot in our condo. He only contacted us when we attempted to contact him and responses were exclusively via text or email.
When we returned in late July to obtain another agent, we learned that our staged apartment had several week old stools in all the toilets. Mike’s people never checked on any of this during open houses, so people touring the home would open the toilets and get a nice fragrant «hello». We never heard a word on this, not even a «hey, you should hire a cleaning service to swing by». While we were disappointed because the house did not sell under Mike’s watch, what was more disappointing was his lack of visibility or familiarity with selling a staged, vacated home. Mike is a mistake we hope to never make again.

Ryan is a boss! he really made the home buying experience extremely painless and really won us over with the amount of legwork he was doing. He works like he has something to prove and now I’d recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone I know who is looking. Go with the young gun!

We had an awesome experience with Paul Chin. He always had a thoughtful and thorough answer for us when we’d ask about aspects of a home or a neghborhood. As first time home buyers we had a lot of questions. Paul was honest, flexible, patient and extremely knowledgable. Communication was great and our settlement went smoothly.

I worked with Andrea on Mike’s team and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She pushed when I needed it, and backed off when the market was just slow and we needed to wait. She was open to showing both her recommendations and homes I found myself, and provided what I considered to be unbiased opinions on all of them. As a first time home buyer she helped me understand the process from start to finish, and overall made me feel really confident I knew what I was getting into, and that the McCann team was the right people to help me buy a house. The recommendations on lenders, home inspectors, and contractors was a big help. They are great at giving options, but not pushing in any one direction unless you ask for it specifically. Sivan also stepped in while Andrea was away to provide help, just showing they work very well within the team. I’d highly recommend anyone to go to McCann for homes of any price range.

It was great working with Bibe Chin to find our home in Philly. Bibe was very knowledgeable about the local area, and respond promptly to all our questions large or small. She help making this whole buying process as smooth and worry free as it could’ve been. We would totally work with her again in the future.

This is by far the best real estate brokerage in all of Philadelphia. Stuart Cohen helped my wife and I buy a house we never thought we would be able to afford! He was quick and precise. From offer to close, it took just over a month. I don’t know much about buying houses, but I do know my family of attorneys were absolutely stunned at the deal Stuart was able to get us. I would highly recommend Stuart and the McCann team to anyone who is interested in buying or selling a house. 5 stars all the way!

I worked with Ryan on purchasing a home and the process was easy and quick! The McCann team really knows what they are doing when it comes to Philadelphia neighborhoods and real estate transactions. I went with their recommendations for mortgage brokers and homeowners insurance. They were able to give me the best deals I could find. Overall, I would highly recommend the McCann team!

BUYER BEWARE. This was a horrible experience from start of finish. Would only
show homes they were tied too. Misrepresented the work done on the property
I bought. Promised a quick settlement that took 4 months. Negotiated a mortgage
rate that was changed on the agreement at settlement. Promised to complete work
after settlement and cursed at me when I contacted them. I think one star is
generous. Very slick operation.

I could not have asked for a better realtor than Ryan McCann. Since we began the process, he was nothing short of professional. Being first time home buyers, he made us feel very comfortable with the process and I never felt pressured. His insight into the city and market made me feel that I was working with a competent realtor that regularly keeps up on the current trends. He was able to point out details in the homes that were really beneficial in the decision making process. Throughout the process, we felt supported and informed to the fullest. I’d give my fullest recommendation to use this team.

BUYER or RENTER BEWARE!!! I wish there was a way to give less than one star. Mike McCann is an absolutely terrible realtor. He will not honor your wishes or requests. He is out for commission alone. I felt like he wasn’t listening to anything we wanted and we needed to constantly repeat our wishes to him. Absolutely the worst experience with a realtor I’ve had in my life.

Julie and Mike have been great! We found our rental on Craigslist and contacted Julie from there. She met with us a few times, even once on the weekend. Very accommodating. We had a few concerns about the house which were resolved before our move in date. After moving in, we found a few problems, as most people do with a rental, which Mike quickly resolved. Any time we have an issue, we contact Mike and he jumps right on it. I would definitely recommend renting from the McCann Team.

I’ve heard that buying a house for the first time can be scary, but whoever started that rumor must not have had Lauren as her real estate agent! Lauren Acker is truly a superstar. After looking at a dozen or so homes with various realtors that I felt didn’t have the time for me, or weren’t taking me seriously, I came across Lauren and never looked back ! She was down to earth and very knowledgeable right from the beginning. I always felt very comfortable asking her any question I had (and I had a lot of questions). She made everything seamless and as easy as possible and I’d never use anyone else.

Mike is a great landlord, not only do I rent from him, but my girlfriend has joined the club. I asked Mike to find a nice place for her, he and Julie both worked hard, got her a beautiful place with awesome light and energy, and he tore up the carpet and installed beautiful laminate flooring front to back on both 1^st and 2^nd floors. Beautiful place and he is always instantly available if you have an issue and need to contact him. I highly recommend him.

Recently bought my first home with my wife and used the McCann team, specifically Ryan McCann as our agent. While navigating the housing options to our budget was difficult, working with Ryan and his team was not. They were always quick to respond and worked with us to help find the right house for the right price along with showing us the ropes as first time home buyers. I would highly recommend Ryan to friends, family and strangers if you are interested in buying a property in Philadelphia.

Mike said he would get my house sold by the end of the spring market and he had it sold before the buds even showed on the trees. When there were issues with the appraisal, he immediately appealed with a strong argument that reversed the appraisers initial valuation and ultimately came in at full price. When other realtors would have thrown in the towel and convinced us to cover the difference out of pocket, Mike went to bat for us and saved us $ 20K. A true professional who is as tenacious as they come and and all-​around good guy. 5-​stars all the way! Thanks Mike and all of the Mccann Team!

The worse should be no stars. Arrogant and condescending no service til I tried to change realtors and then held us to thirty days even though he knew we were very unhappy. Blamed it on our property
