This place is awesome. I have been going here for laser hair removal for months and its a great place. Everyone is so kind, attentive, and honest.
Hair removal is expensive, yeah. But well worth it. They have package deals that can help save a little money. It’s not painless but it’s worth it knowing I won’t have razor burn/​have to wax/​anything like that.
This is the way to go. They offer payment plans as well, so it’s not so much of a hit to your wallet.
Apparently they also have groupons which I didn’t realize!

I bought a discounted package on groupon, and glad I finally decided to get this done. I went to one session every month or so for a total of six sessions. Very satisfied with the results. Service was good too — friendly and professional and easy to schedule.

I have had the Brazilian and underarms laser treatment and I couldn’t be happier. There is definitely a huge difference as I rarely have to shave. I think that the cost is absolutely worth it considering I was spending so much more in waxing treatments that would only last two weeks.
Alex is my tech and she is a real pro. She explained that the coarser the hair the better the result will be. So far I am extremely pleased and I wish I would have done this in my 20’s although I don’t think the technology was available then. If u are on the fence, I suggest buy the groupon and test out a small area first like your underarms.

I came here with a Groupon– 6 treatments in a small area– about 2 years ago. After struggling with shaving, plucking, etc it’s been awesome to not have to deal with it anymore. Granted, there are still the occasional hairs but nothing like before. The technicians were always friendly and the rooms were clean. The receptionists are very nice, and I was even offered the occasional glass of wine while I waited. The location is great and they offer evening appointments, which is a huge bonus.
I just booked a touch-​up and another treatment in a small area. Hopefully this time is equally effective!

I received 6 Brazilian laser hair treatments as a gift a few months back and I was so impressed with the staff here I also purchased the under arm package.
The process isn’t painless but as a former waxer i feel much better having a few seconds of pain over 30 min of skin ripping off my lady hairs .
The initial meeting ran a little over 20 min (including treatment of both areas under arms and lady parts)
They pretty much ask similar questions to waxing, what meds you take, skin care products etc.
I usually schedule my apts over my lunch hour and I’m in and out I’m under 15 min. The staff of pretty nice I’ve never had any issues
I mean it’s laser on your skin and it’s zapping you but after 3 treatments I have seen a noticeable difference and I shave maybe once in between my 6 week gap in treatments .

Spend the extra money and go somewhere that can do it right. I have a consultation at a new place because Metro did not remove most of the hair after 6 treatments. You get what you pay for.

Recently purchased a groupon for a series of 6 treatments. I’ve been to two other laser centers for different areas, so my expectations were high. I couldn’t be more pleased with the three treatments I’ve received thus far with my tech Wesley. He’s always been friendly, kind and thorough during my treatments. It’s obvious that he really cares about providing quality service to his clients.
I have to admit I was a bit hesitant at first due to all the reviews related to scheduling, but halfway through my treatments I haven’t had any problems. I love their text and email appointment reminder service… so convenient. I haven’t had to wait more than 5 minutes when I arrive for my appointments.

I’ve been going to Metro Laser for several months and am completely happy with my results. My treatments have been underarms and Brazilian. Alexis is my tech, whom I just love! She explains everything and has a fabulous personality. She is a doll. If I can’t get an appointment with her, I wait until I can. The one downfall is that I have to pay for parking, but this is not their fault.

i bought a groupon for six treatments for my underarms. At first it was working amazingly, but after my six treatments were done, all my hair grew back thicker and more quickly. I’m not new to the laser hair removal, i’ve been doing it for years in different areas back in pittsburgh. Not once has this ever happened to me. I plan on never going back.

I purchased a groupon ($ 149 for 6 sessions) earlier this year from Metro for my underarms and one for my upper lip. I try to remain consistent with techs as I am African American and concerned with hyper/​hypo pigmentation, Molly was my tech until she quit then West took over. At my 5 or 6^th session West and I were talking about my results, and I casually mentioned that I had higher hopes for my results thus far, I wasn’t even complaining because they can’t control how hair grows on your body. Anyway before I could finish my sentence, he offered to do one free session on (both areas). He said «we don’t want anyone un-​happy here», and maybe that session will give you slighter better results.
So after I picked my mouth up off the floor I thanked him, and made my next appt.
I’ve since referred 2 ppl and got $ 50 credit per person towards any future treatments, full price of course. However touch ups for the underarm and upper lip ate 69 each, so I would only pay the difference which isn’t bad at all
This place is clean, appts rarely run late, and they have all been courteous to me.

I’ve been going to Metro for over a year for various hair removal services. I really liked them at first but have been more than disappointed over the past few months.
I recently had a touch up on my bikini area, which I’ve had treated many, many times. This time I was burnt by the laser. I called and emailed the manager many times (even included a picture) and have not received one response.
Additionally, I have not had good results with my leg treatments. I’ve had 7 treatments so far and I still have to shave every day. I’ve had multiple areas lasered and have had minimal hair left after 6 treatments.
Lastly, they have had a very frequent turnover of laser technicians lately, which tells me something is going on over there. I’ve had someone different the last 4 treatments because people keep leaving.

Saw a deal on groupon and before purchasing, I called them to ask questions. They were so nice on the phone and knew their stuff when I asked questions! They even gave me the option of either purchasing the groupon through groupon or just paying that price when I get to the place. I was a bit scared of not purchasing the groupon and waiting for my first appointment, but I waited and they honored their word and only charged me the gorupon price. I love places that does what they say they are going to do.
So, I only had my first laser done so far, but just from the experience, I love them! Stephani was so nice. She even wanted to talk to her boss before doing anything to me bc I was breastfeeding. She wanted to make sure that everything was still going to be ok for me and my baby. After the approval, she did a test spot and asked how I felt. I was good and it didn’t hurt at all, so she continued.
I can’t wait to finish all 6 sessions to see the final results. I will update once I finish.

Great, clean, professional and safe place. I got a Groupon here and it was worth every penny. Of the 6 treatments, I only had to wait for one, and that was only 15 minutes. Otherwise I was seen right away.
They are very careful and experienced. They know all the precautions to take and are super informed about all things laser. If you’re looking to get it done, and looking for a safe place. This is it.

I have had services here twice, courtesy of a Groupon. I love this place!!! The esthetician’s are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Laser hair removal as I understand it is tricky but worth it. Plus I think the prices are pretty reasonable considering it’s permanent!

I’m kind of surprised to see so few reviews for this place! I have been looking into laser removal for a while so I can stop the money pit that is waxing every month. When I saw this pop up on groupon for a very fair price, I scoped it out online and then promptly purchased. I was still a little hesitant just because laser hair removal is one of those things that can go very wrong if not done properly. Well, I was blown away by the service here. I was getting a very. sensitive area done and Molly was so nice and made the whole process comfortable and not the least bit awkward. It turns out on my first visit that I was taking a medication that might have made my skin too sensitive, so she did a test spot and had me come back in two weeks, with no problem, attitude, or rescheduling fee. They really seem to care about the wellbeing of their patients. I am three treatments in (out of six) and I am already thrilled with the results.
The first appointment took a while to get, I guess because it’s a bit longer, but every other one has been a breeze to schedule. Also, the appointments are only about 15 minutes! They email you your appointment times to make it even easier. I could never afford full price laser removal, but if they ever have another Groupon I would scoop it up in a heartbeat!

Having never had any sort of laser treatments I thought I’d start slow and use a Groupon. Though I don’t have any other place to compare it to, my experience at Metro has been fantastic. Though I’ve dealt with (I think) everyone in the office at one time or another, Jessica has been my technician and she has done a fantastic job. You can tell she knows what she is talking about and is very skilled at what she does. I may not have any other laser experience but I do know the difference between being comfortable and not — Jessica has always made me feel comfortable. I am sorry a previous poster had a bad experience with her, but I have nothing bad to say. 5 treatments down, 1 to go and the results are incredible.
Only complaint is also regarding scheduling — after hauling ass across town to make a 5:30pm appointment I showed up only to be told Jessica was sick that day and I would need to reschedule. Would have been really great to receive a phone call about that a little earlier.

I bought a laser for underarms for 6 treatments. My first treatment was great I had Jonathan he took his time and made me feel comfortable. I made an appointment to come again for my 2^nd treatment it was with the owner he did a great job also. My 3^rd time was with Jonathan again and he did a great job again took his time and made sure he layered my whole underarm.
My 4^th time I had an appointment and cancelled to come in on Saturday and I made sure to make the apt with Jonathan. I get a call on Friday telling me to come in at 2:30pm but I scheduled for 2pm. Than I get another 2 calls on the day of my apt Sat at 9am with no voice mail. I call back and Jonathan answers the phone telling me he has me scheduled for 1:45pm!!!
I come in at 1:45pm and the girl Jessica takes me to the room and I ask her where Jonathan because my apt was with him today. She tells me he is busy for another hour with a patient!
I go with Jessica to the room she does a terrible job with laser she just skims over one minute on one side and than the other. She doesn’t know what she’s doing and shouldn’t be a technician. I will never again go with her for my laser!
After my apt of 2 minutes I walk out and there Jonathan I tell him my apt was supposed to be with him today. He ignores me and tells Jessica to take me to the back room to schedule my apt. Im sorry but a clint should not be treated that way.
They have very good lasers my hair underarms started to grow very slow and thin after 3 treatments, but the only technician that good there is Jonathan or the owner.

I started with Metro Laser about 3 or 4 years ago. Please remember that laser hair removal is tricky and there are never guarantees for this process. I will say that without a doubt, I got what I paid for. I did like 6 or 7 sessions and it worked for me. It is not permanent! I do need to do maintenance once a year, but it is worth it! If you listen to what they tell you about the process and how it works, then it can be very effective. This is an investment and Jess/​Jonathan make all their clients comfortable and informed.
I would do it again in heartbeat! I have saved time and money! I would ONLY go to Metro and have referred people there lots of times. All my friends also love Jess & Jonathan.
And it is only «Pricey» because it is laser hair removal, duh!

I went to Metro for a treatment when I was disappointed with my service at a different salon. They were flexible and fair with price when I explained my situation, and I was able to have a treatment immediately following my consultation.
I’ll be going there for a follow up, but barely feel as if I need to. So far, so good.

Based on the recommendation of friends I wanted to try laser hair removal on my underarms. Jonathan was charming, welcoming and trustworthy. He offered me a good deal, but as I got towards by the 6^th and 7^th treatments I started to get worried.
The hair was still there. From what I was told (and what others who have had laser hair removal told me) you should be close to bare by the 5^th or 6^th treatment. When I came in for my 7^th I was hoping that the treatment would be extremely reduced or (ideally) at no cost. I have been in sales for over seven years and there is nothing worse than a dissatisfied customer!
But instead I paid a slightly discounted rate for my 7^th treatment. I never came back because I was uncomfortable to ask for treatment at no cost. It took me a long time to build up the courage to call and ask (over a year), but I did tell them I was unhappy as I was shaving everyday.
The responce I got was incredibly disappointing. Jonathan went through a list of excuses why I might be the reason the hair was not gone, none of which were true. He then left it that I must have high testosterone and should have my doctor do a blood test. I didn’t appreciate that statement, as he is not a doctor and doesn’t have the authority to tell me what is wrong with me.
When I asked what he could do for me he said that I had already received the services at a discount (in total I paid over $ 1,000) and I said thank you and hung up the phone.
I haven’t heard back from him.
