Montway was founded in 2007 as a basic brokerage with the goal of improving auto transport through technology, combining superior service with a state-​of-​the-​art user-​friendly Website and Transport Management System. For the first time, customers could calculate quotes, without submitting sensitive personal information. Over the years, conscious commitment to customer experience and technological innovation has led to the development of many of the industry’s most cutting-​edge tools and solutions and made Montway one of the largest and most competitive transport management companies in the U.S.

Mike Mihaylov was inspired to start Montway on the belief that he could affect significant change in the industry through technology. When most transport companies were focused on sales instead of user experience, Mihaylov knew he could offer something better. He believed the customer was the key to success and built Montway on that foundation. Mihaylov’s approach has always been to listen, uncover challenges, and figure out how to help. With his guidance, this small, family-​owned startup grew into a multimillion-​dollar business in less than ten years.
