I’ve been parking here since last November and they provide Valet service, and they are always courteous and prompt. The price is very competitive. Call and ask for Rob. He is the manager and is awesome.

I just wanted to touch base with all the past and potential customers. I started helping this parking garage in June of 2014. Since then, we have had made some major changes in how this garage operates. I am a general manager of Park America, and I am on site here Mon-​Fri 7am-​4pm. I am also on-​call on Saturday and Sunday’s if needed. Being a general manager means I’ve been around awhile and have a more keen sense to what our customers/​parkers need. In simpler terms, I care a lot about you! The customer is important to me. That’s my job! We’ve haven’t had any negative or even positive Unilocal review since Mar 2014! To me that’s a start. I will encourage my current customers to write some reviews about this parking garage, because there’s a new energy in Old City Parkominium! P. S. Unilocal removes this content because they think I’m an owner, but I’m not. I just take pride in what I do. It’s sad that 90 percent of what people post is negative and never the positive aspect. That’s how our country has turned out to be… Such a shame. That’s also what Unilocal is about. They are leaches looking for all the negative in a business. They also make money on your visits so they can advertise based on that traffic. I encourage all feedback. Have a great day!

They crashed my car and never told me. I knew something was wrong when I hit the turn signal on the way out. Had to argue with the guy and take the place to court to get my deductible reimbursed. They were dishonest and not forthcoming. Do a complete walk around check when you pick your car up. Btw I wasn’t their only customer they did this to.

Things started out great parking here until about six weeks ago. I would call in a few minutes before I left my apartment to ensure my car was available. It seemed to never be there on time, so I figured I would call earlier to allow them to get the car prior to the rush, around 6:20 — 6:30. This also had no help on getting my car. It would be sitting upstairs until I arrived and told them I needed my car. I would wait there for up to 20 minutes every single day for weeks. I spoke to the manager to hopefully understand what I need to do to make sure everyone is on the right page so there are no issues. Instead of helping and working through it, he said he will raise everyone’s rates to eliminate some of the volume.
Overall this was a good experience until the service turned to crap. Perhaps I’m just unlucky about my situation, but I will be finding other parking arrangements unless they can solve the issues they’ve been having.

I’ve been parking here for about 18 months. They’ve been very professional, courteous, and prompt. M-​F they know my schedule and have my car waiting without any word from me. If I call ahead my car is waiting when I arrive. If I forget to call, it’s never more than a 5 minute wait. I haven’t noticed any damage done to my car and they were willing to help when my car had problems and needed a jump. And the rates are reasonable compared to other options in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place.

Extremely disappointing. I got a monthly pass because it’s a lot less expensive than the surrounding garages but I will never make that mistake again. They always take forever to get my car, they sometimes don’t even know if they have it. I’ve never waited less than 10 minutes, usually much more than that. The little bit extra that you’ll spend to park somewhere else is worth it.
EDIT: when I arrived yesterday, one of the attendants informed me that I need to call ahead of time to get my car, or else it’ll «take time.» Nobody told me that, and he was also very rude when he said it. Moral of the story? Park somewhere else.

I wish I didn’t have to write this and I wish I could put just a half a star. I have been parking there for almost three years and the only thing that has kept me there is the price. I recently left and started parking elsewhere. But not before I sent them a nice letter. I forgot to mention in the letter how one particular parking attendant has been rude to me on multiple counts. One time as I was walking straight to my car like I always have, and he was brand new, he asked if he could help me, I said «I’m just going to my car», he said «HEY! You don’t ignore someone if they ask you a question!!» I said, «I’m just going to my car, right here». The next time was this little gem: as I was pulling out of my space and leaving for the day, the same guy was about ten feet away from me and yelled «ARE YOU TRYING TO HIT ME!!!» I had to take a double take to see if he was talking to me. And he was.
Here’s the email I sent (please excuse the typos, I was/​am not too happy):
To Whom it May Concer:
After almost three years of parking in your facility I can no longer park there. I’m disappointed to say that, after I bought a brand new car and trusted your staff to take care of it, it is covered in scratches that I know for a fact happened in your facility. The car has either been keyed or someone took something sharp and make blatant marks on it. Maybe it was an accident but the point is it happened under your watch and after I pointed it out to you, you denied that it was from your people. I am not an idiot. I will not be swindled. The «buffing» that you did to get rid of the scratches was worthless, as I took the car to get washed and they showed up only more fiercely.
You should all be ashamed. My 4 month old car is ruined because of the lack of care in your facility. I’m appalled and disgusted. On top of that, your service providers are rude and disrespectful. I had to wait TWENTY minutes last week for my car, that should have been on the first floor considering I am a day time only Parker, to be brought downstairs and when it arrived it had scratches, $ 20 was missing from my center consol, the sunroof visor was closed (which I never do), the heat was on full blast, mine and the passenger seat were positioned so far back it was ridiculous.
I strongly suggest uo get your staff together or get a whole new one ASAP. I will not be stopping at this email. My car needs to be fixed and on your dime.

Most (certainly not all) of the valets are friendly and the rates are affordable however that’s where the positives end.
My car has been damaged twice and the garage only took responsibility for it once. I have seen cars driven recklessly by valets frequently. Usually this happens during peak morning or afternoon hours when the staff is in a hurry-I’ve never understood why pulling a car out of a spot so quickly that the tires squeal is necessary when you are only moving it 50 feet.
Recently I watched a valet hit a parked car twice while trying to park another before giving up and moving it to another space.
In the morning the cars are packed so tightly together I sometimes have to crawl through the passenger side door to get in. Depending on where your car is parked it can be extremely difficult to get it out.
Interacting with the current manager is extremely frustrating. He is rude and lacks any sort of skill in customer service and tact.
Park at your own risk, this garage is barely a notch above the frustration of dealing with the PPA and finding a spot on the street.

If this review was just on price and location it would earn about 3 stars.
Unfortunately, much is left to be said about the management and staff working at the Parkominium. The cars are parked by valets who may or may not take the care of your car seriously when in their possession. Our car was completely scratched and dented by Parkominium staff.
When we picked up our car one morning and noticed a giant scratch, they pretended to know nothing about it. When we pointed out that the car elevator had a streak of paint which matched our paint color (reddish-​maroon) at the same exact height of the scratch, they told us that we could not prove that it was from our car. When we reached out to to to management and the parent company, we were told that they would do nothing to help us.
You get the point. Park here at your own risk.
