History

Established in 1970.

The eight lane center was built by Teddy Hoffman somewhere around 1948. Modifications and ownership changes throughout the years lead us to what is known today as Hi Spot Lanes. Around 197071 a small group of entrepreneurs formed a Corporation known as Hi Spot Lanes, Inc. In the early 2000’s the most recent upgrades were made. The lane beds became synthetic, the overground ball returns were replaced with modern underground systems. An automatic scoring system was put the use with the inception of computerized technology. Being in the midst of a residential community the Center affiliates with many local businesses. Many of the local residents and business owners patronage Hi Spot Lanes. The center prides itself on its work over the years with the local schools and programs to promote youth bowling. With its strong community presence the Bowling Center has been the Arena playing host to so many family and friends fondest bowling moments and memories.

Meet the Manager

John A.

Manager

Born in 1964 I was blessed as a child to be what I say awarded a Bowling Alley by the age of 6. Quite an amazing thing for a kid my age. Yeah I could play baseball, hockey, football or any other sport, but this was different. For me it was special. I had the arena. I had the playing surface. It allowed me to have a different perspective of the sport of bowling. It was that reason that I quickly sought out to learn all I could about the sport. I remember vividly my first trip to the school library. In first grade we went to the basement to get our book to read. It was without hesitation that I went to the librarian and requested the book on bowling. Forty years later I am proud to say that I have achieved so much. I have several 300 games, League championships and Tournament championships in events including Singles, Doubles and Team. I have mastered the art of ball fitting and drilling and today own and operate the Pro Shop inside of Hi Spot Lanes. We call it On The Spot Pro Shop.
