Well been coming here since 2010 and I can say never had a bad meal. People are nice and food is good.

You want to go where every knows your name but instead of a beer, you want pancakes and a wide grits? This would be the place. Across the street from the Frankford Transportation Center lies the Original Liberty Bell Restaurant. It’s a greasy spoon type of diner that is open from 5am to 3pm Monday through Saturday. It’s sad because they are a great option to have outside of Chinese food, Crown Fried Chicken and that horror show they call a McDonald’s next door. The service is always polite, the waitstaff make it a point to remember who you are and it’s always quick. Even if the place is packed, before you know it, you’re staring down a nice plate of itis inducing vittles. Come in with a hearty appetite, grab a metro and fill up for work. They take credit cards but you have to at least spend $ 10 so be prepared for that. I prefer to sit on the stools because if you don’t go early, space could come at a premium. There is free WIFI sort of. You can catch a bit of the Xfinity WIFI hotspot in there which spills over from the Little of Shop of Horrors that is McDonald’s.
