Patriot Parking

Garbage service, rude valets. I left my car with them for two nights last week. My car has never had a dead battery ever in all my years of operating it, and it is well-​maintained. I left it with Patriot Parking on Tuesday night. Thursday afternoon, I go to pick it up. Valet tries to start the car, it won’t turn over. Shrugs and says «The battery’s dead,» like there’s nothing else he can do, and starts to walk away. I start yelling like crazy for him to jump start the car. He grudgingly walks over to his car to bring it over to jump my car. He then charges me full freight for the two nights. I tell him I won’t pay. He calls his boss down. His boss, after acknowledging that the car only died after the car was entirely in the possession of his valets as bailee, still refused to even acknowledge that it was possible that his guys screwed up. Instead, he came up with the bullshit explanation that because my well-​maintained, reliable Honda is old, that it was more likely that it was a total coincidence and the car battery just HAPPENED to die for the first time while in the overnight custody of a third party. If one of my idiot valets screwed up and left a light on in the car while moving it and I was too gutless to take responsibility for it, I’d do the same exact thing. Ultimately, the supervisor wouldn’t budge because «car batteries die in our garages every day across the city (?!),» and this is just what happens. So I paid the full price and left.
These clowns didn’t kill my car battery the same way O.J. Simpson didn’t kill Nicole and Ronald Goldman. Avoid this place. They will ruin your car and deny any and all liability.
