Piper is such a gem. Right on the border of Drexel and Penn territory, this shop is wonderful. They have something for every occasion… a night out or just everyday wear. They have a good variety of girly, edgy, and practical pieces. Their jewelry is absolutely gorgeous… some of the best statement necklaces I have ever seen. I love the fact that you have to come out to see yourself in a mirror while trying on clothes… other shoppers and even the sales associates are super honest. Prices are awesome! Great for quality and how unique everything is! Go shopping at Piper… you will not regret it.

I LOVEPIPER! It’s a unique find for sure. I happened to be up in University City area for client meetings and the window display caught my eye. Ashley, a sales associate, helped pick out a perfect outfit for a rehearsal dinner I was going. Since this summer, I’ve been back almost weekly to check out the new pieces they get in weekly. If anyone is looking for great customer service, QUALITY pieces and reasonable prices I would definitely recommend Piper! I believe Ashley works mostly everyday during the day, she is the BEST stylist!

A friend and I headed in here one day after dinner to look around, and we were greeted by very friendly service… and wine! It seems like this boutique is trying to go for a «shopping with friends» sort of image, and it works. There are so many cute items in the store, many of which are rotated nearly daily on their mannequins. Most of the items are for«going out,» and are of course marketed toward the Penn undergrads. I would’ve liked to see more variety within the store, although I do understand that they would want to target the Penn demographic. Of the pieces I did really like, there were only one or two items left that weren’t in my size. Although I walked out empty-handed this time, I will certainly be back the next time the mannequins catch my eye! Hopefully I’ll be able to find something reasonably priced in my size.

I spotted this store walking by and the window display caught my eye. This has very quickly become one of my favorite stores. The employees are super sweet and honest. Also I try to only shop there because of the quality clothing and unique items. I went there for a dress for a very special event I was attending and I’ve never seen anyone with this dress and it was a hit. I feel that same way every time I buy clothes here. Oh and the other comments about the mirrors, I like the idea that you have to come out to view yourself. You get honest feedback, because after all, you do have to wear the clothes in front of people if you buy it, why not get immediate opinions. Love this place. :) ps Ashley is an amazing saleswoman, she’ll hold and pick stuff out that she knows I’ll love.

On my way to work I stopped in one day, and fell in love with this little shop. I met the owner when it first opened and she was so adorable I had to tell all my friends about the great boutique and super sweet owner! Clothing & accessories are reasonably priced, and super fashionable. It is geared a little more towards the early college 20’s instead of the more career oriented mid-to late 20 somethings. — but in general there is a little something for everyone. My big CONS are the dressing rooms, very small and no mirrors– I hate hearing everyone’s commentary when I come out ecsp. when there is a line for the dressing room and I need a few minutes to look and think about it… there have been multiple times I have decided against an outfit cause it was too much pressure and I couldn’t make decision with two girls staring at me… staring at myself. Also, I really wish they had online shopping available. For a store that has three locations I am very surprised they are not more technologically advanced. The website is finally up and running and very cute— but I wish I could order online! Cant wait to see how they grow in the future!

My yoga classes were bringing me to UCity far more often than in the past year, and one gloriously bright and sunny day I was in such a good mood that I decided to walk around the area instead of running straight home. On my way to Starbucks I spotted a cute dress in the window of Piper Boutique and decided to quickly pop in — amazing how being in a good mood makes you more amenable to the idea of spending $$. Thankfully(for my wallet), they didn’t have the dress in my size — but they did have an adorable sales girl who was very friendly and nice, and we chatted as I browsed. I still ended up buying two things, a chain link shoulder bag and simple gold bracelet. Since they had a store wide sale going on, it was hard to just say no to everything there. They have lots of cute styles, similar to Urban Outfitters but a bit more feminine, and their prices are reasonable, and comparable to other boutiques who carry similar brands in CC. The shopping in this area is a bit sparse, so be sure to check them out!

This is a super cute little boutique. I walk by it all the time between work and school, and finally stopped in. I was surprised by how inexpensive everything is — I was expecting high prices! But the clothes, jewelry, etc are reasonably priced. Anything that’s a bit more seems worth it for the price, like leather handbags. The girls that work in the shop are all really nice and helpful. I do wish the dressing rooms had mirrors in them — sometimes you just don’t want anyone to see what you’ve tried on, lol. Great little shop, I’ll be back :)
