(to the tune of «Time of Your Life» by Green Day) Another summer’s come and gone with autumn here There’s a chill in the air that makes memories dear When evenings were quite crisp, Port Fednuts brought the heat And filled our bellies with the most delicious treats. This little port, unexpected, but in the end was right. Fried chicken and donuts make a perfect night… We took the photographs, posted them on Instagram. Buttermilk ranch, some cheese, that sammy was a grand slam And all the mini donuts, they come in a brown bag Stuffed my face, I’m so full, I’m waving my white flag This little port, unexpected, but in the end was right. Fried chicken and donuts make a perfect night… Port Fednuts: That potato roll cradling a tasty piece of of chicken, nestled in cheese and drizzled with some spicy mayo… you left your mark on Philadelphia. A love story for the ages, the sandwich is now available for the masses even when we reach that summertime sadness and SSHP takes a break. And for that, I thank you. For the late night where we purchased a few bags of donuts and you doled out 6 because it was almost closing time… I thank you, and send a virtual hug and kiss. Probably tastes like cinnamon, still. See you next summer?

These chicken sandwiches were delicious! I didn’t realized that they all came with cheese and pickles and the ranch sauce, but they do and it’s a good thing because it MAKES the sandwich. If they opened up a drive through with these sandwiches they’d give Chik-Fil-A a run for their money. Too bad they’re only a pop up this summer. Maybe they’ll keep them around…

I stopped by on a Wednesday in August… I got the fried chicken sandwich which was the only sandwich they offered that night and it was very good. It was topped with yellow American cheese, some ranch seasoning, pickles and sauce. The wait was not too long,(4 mins?) and I enjoyed it very much. They also had donut holes and maybe a few other things.

If all the other awesomeness of Spruce St. Harbor Park isn’t enough to entice you, then port fed nuts might be your reason to stop by. They take their classic restaurant buttermilk ranch chicken, throwing it on a bun with pickles and this amazing spicy rooster sauce that I think might be ranch and buffalo sauce, and then top it with torched cheese. It’s amazing. The last time I went to the Harbor Park I didn’t even go for the bar; I went for this sandwich. Plus you can pick up a bag of their mini doughnuts? Done and done. Give it a try the next time you’re in the area. You won’t regret it!

Cute little pop up restaurant at Spruce Street Harbor Park this summer! They only have 2 things on their menu besides drinks and iced coffee, bag of nuts(6 mini cinnamon sugar donuts) and the fried chicken sandwich. I got the fried chicken sandwich to share with the boyfriend. It was $ 7. Kind of pricey but worth it to me. It was a piece of fried chicken with dry ranch seasoning, spicy sauce, pickles, cheese, on a potato bun. DELISH!!!

All they serve here(besides drinks) are FedNuts infamous donuts and a fried chicken sandwich that you can’t get at their other locations. The donuts were sold out when I was there. The sandwich is a buttermilk ranch fried chicken breast topped with dill pickles, a slice of yellow American, and«rooster sauce»(likely a Sriracha mayo) on a Martin’s potato roll. As at other locations they do the fried chicken right. It had a nice crunch on the outside and was juicy and tender inside. It felt fresh and not processed. The combination of flavors is simple but balanced. I personally would prefer a little toasting of the bun and a slight melt on the cheese, but you can still tell they put some care in assembling this little sandwich. As at other food stands at Spruce Street Harbor Park the sandwich is a bit pricey at $ 7 for it’s size — I could easily have eaten two of them — but if you’re going to eat food here it’s a great option.
