Psychic Readings By Sable

There seem to be three different women, all of whom seem to be related to each other (at least acccording to Sable, who first gave me a reading), at this business, and they often have a table set up on the sidewalk near their stairwell doorway, and in front of the restaurant located on the ground floor of the building. Their signage states that the shop itself is lcoated on the 3^rd floor, in an apartment.
Before I start my review, I want to give you some background information on myself if you have not yet read any of my other reviews of psychics here. In addition to being a scientific/​engineering consultant, I am also a mystic, a spiritual healer and an intuitive (psychic). Because of this, I know a great number of mystics, psychics and healers from around the world. Whenever I travel, I make it a practice to get readings from at least two or three local psychics in whatever city I am visiting.
Since I’m a mystic and spiritual healer, my life is very much filled with Divine love and grace, and I am very happy and very much at peace. I want to stress the fact that when I make visits to local psychics during my travels, I am not seeking help with any problems, nor am I seeking spiritual guidance, and rather, I seek them out and ask for a general life reading simply because God asks me to do so, and to have a fun way of connecting with other practitioners in the realms of the inner mystical/​spiritual and metaphysical arts, for I see them as my spiritual sisters and brothers.
So, when reading my reviews of psychics here on Unilocal or elsewhere, it may be helpful for you to bear in mind that I did not visit any of them with any problems or serious questions or wishes in mind, and, due to this fact, your own experience with the same psychics might be somewhat different than mine. In other words, your mileage may vary (from mine)!
During my mid-​2014 stays in Philly, I had spotted any one of three different female readers sitting at the sidewalk table at this address a number of times. Finally, at mid-​afternoon on July 17, 2014, I sat down and asked for a psychic reading from the woman sitting at the table. She was kinda heavy-​set, and was dark-​haired and Mediterranean (or Eastern European)-looking, and perhaps in her mid-​50s; she was apparently Sable herself. The biz card that she gave me (along with the signs in the window of her 3^rd floor apartment) read «Psychic Readings by Sable» and listed the address as 1316 Walnut St., 3^rd floor, and listed the phone number as 267−444−8185.
From what Sable told me, the other two women whom I had occasionally seen working at the table were her relatives, and she further told me that the younger slender dark-​haired one was her adult daughter.
As is always my practice when getting a reading from a «new» (to me) psychic, this was a totally cold reading. So, I told Sable, prior to the start of the reading, only my first name, the date and place of my birth, and that I was visiting Philly for a few days and staying in a hotel in Center City. I told her nothing more about myself, and I did not reveal any other significant information about myself until after the reading had ended.
I paid Sable $ 10 for a palm reading and about $ 60 for a full (deck) tarot reading. Maybe Sable was just having a bad day, but her reading was quite terrible. Almost all of her statements about my life history and facts of my current life were quite grossly incorrect, and she also threw in, for good measure, some overly-​vague and over-​generalized statements that could have applied to 80% of the adult males in the world.
To add insult to injury, as if the terribly-​inaccurate reading was not sufficient, Sable kept trying to con me, telling me in a forceful and insistent fashion that she could see that I had many very severe problems and that she wanted, for a small fee, to loan me a special healing crystal that I would need to carry on myself for about 4 days in order to be healed and «cleansed» on all levels; her various quotes for the loan fee ranged from $ 300 to $ 900. I politely declined all of her offers to fix me, and ended the reading when she could not stop trying repeatedly to con me.
A few days later, passing the table at about 6PM, I noticed Sable’s daughter (dark-​haired, slender, mid-​or-​late 20s at most) sitting at the table and again sat down for a cold palm and tarot reading. The daughter’s reading was considerably more accurate than Sable’s had been, but nothing special, about a 2.9 on a scale of 1 to 5, although she did accurately sense and report that I was a mystic, spiritual healer and intuitive myself, and that I was a very old soul. She also tried a bit of a con, about wanting more money in order to «cleanse me», at the end of the reading, but it was quite half-​hearted.
Sable got a rating of about 0.7 stars, and her daughter earned a rating of about 2.9 stars, and so the average comes out close to 2, and so I gave the biz 2 stars overall.
