Jeff Rushton, one of the scores of sales agents at this office, helped me sell my house. The process was big and a bit messy, but Jeff did a good job. He stayed on top of the details.
That said, the real estate brokerage industry critically needs an overhaul. It’s too centralized –a dominant handful of brokerages do most of the business, and a handful of agents make the big bucks. The members-​only Realtor system, designed more to enrich members than to foster an efficient market– is hugely anticompetitive. So large and widely diffused an industry needs to be open to all. Try to trade property on your own, or with a non-​Realtor agent, and you’ll learn about loneliness!
