I love going into Dr. Tuncay office. It’s a wonderful space with little to no wait time and Lori, Allison and his entire staff are awesome. I started seeing them about two years ago to fix an open bite I have had since I was a kid. They explain on the first day the entire process from braces to surgery and guided me through it all. They were there whenever I needed help or questions answered. A truly professional office and I without a doubt would recommend them to anyone.

I never wrote reviews on Unilocal before. Neither did I post my pictures on a public website. But, yes, I am writing this review, because I really want to thank Dr. Tuncay for everything.
I had hesitated for years to get braces as an adult. But after I talked to Dr. Tuncay and saw the patients’ before and after pictures, I immediately made up my mind and got my braces exactly the same day! It is definitely the best decision I’ve ever made. Now my teeth are straight and I am so satisfied to see the change in my profile. All my friends say that I look so much better and more confident. Three of my friends even went to get braces after they saw the improvement!
Dr. Tuncay is very pleasant to talk to and all the staff are very professional. Besides of the pleasant environment, Dr. Tuncay himself is an experienced expert and he offers all different options. Propel and suresmile worked really well on me. Even though the price here is a little bit higher than other orthodontists, I still highly recommend Dr. Tuncay. If you ever come for a visit, you will immediately see the difference!

I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr Tuncay by my dentist to treat a fairly complex overbite condition which required braces and surgery to correct. Simply put, there is nobody better or more experienced in these types of cases than Dr Tuncay — he quarterbacked my whole treatment with my dentist and my oral surgery team, and I always felt I was in great hands.
In less than 1 year from start to finish I will have perfectly aligned teeth, and my transformation has been absolutely incredible. Dr Tuncay and his staff are absolutely meticulous, and because he is also a dental school professor, he is great at educating his patients about every phase of their treatment. He is brilliant, delightful to be around, and he really makes sure you are taken care of.
Although I chose to have metal braces, Dr Tuncay wrote the book on Invisalign. Literally — I saw the book, which was translated into Mandarin! His office is absolutely gorgeous and his staff is a pleasure to be with.

Dr. Tuncay is excellent to work with. When I lived in Philadelphia he and his staff corrected my teeth over a period of time using Invisalign. I would highly recommend him. Overall great experience and a genuinely good human being.

My mother went to Dr. Tuncay for her braces and recommended him for me. Dr. Tuncay is such a pleasant and humble human being and his staff are very professional and kind. I got my braces as an adult and I truly enjoyed wearing them. Dr. Tuncay has payment plan available to those whom are interested (I was). The cost for my braces was $ 7000 and I think I was discount -$ 500 so I payed $ 6500(cash, paid off in less that a year). I think it was very pricey being that I only had on braces for less that 2years (I think ¹³⁄₁₄ months). Despite the price I always said its the best $ 6500 ever spent and it was a treat to myself. My teeth weren’t too bad to begin with (just a little space like 4 and a little overbite from sucking my thumb). I don’t really think they take insurance (if they do, the list is very very short) so most people who goes Rittenhouse Orthodontics have $$$$.

I never had braces as a child, so getting them as an adult was kind of scary. But the staff at Rittenhouse Orthodontics and Dr. Tuncay eased my fears and helped me through every step.
They set up a payment plan for me so that I didn’t have to pay for it all at once, and outlined the process for me very thoroughly. They were very accommodating about my terrible schedule (I travel for work) and were even willing to take appointments on Saturdays.
Overall, it has been a great experience and my braces will be coming off sooner than projected. Just listen to what they tell you to do to maintain your braces and come in for appointments timely and it’ll be a relatively painless process.

I was referred to this wonderful office by my general dentists and I could not be happier. I had braces as a child but wasn’t so great about wearing my retainer so over 10 years later, my teeth needed some work. I had heard if you want invisalign, Dr. Tuncay is the person to go to. This became very clear after reviewing the Invisalign textbook Dr. Tuncay wrote, and I am so happy to have the smile I have always wanted. The staff at Rittenhouse orthodontics is incredible and his office manager Lori is extremely personable, accessible, and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a great experience in dealing with orthodontic treatment as an adult. My experience with this office was lovely, and I strongly recommend going there if you need any orthodontic treatment!
