Dr. Rozanov is a superb dentist. I have been going to him for perhaps two decades. His knowlege is sound, his explanations clear, his decisions wise, his personality delightful. And he never tries to talk you into a more expensive treatment unless it is really necessary. He looks out for his patients always.

Dr. Rozanov has been taking care of my teeth since 2011. He has provided excellent care and advice for both routine (cleaning, x-​rays, exams) and serious (two bridges) work. I take my kids to Dr. Rozanov to take care of their teeth. I have recommended him to my co-​workers and neighbors.

Roman Rozanov has been our dentist since we moved to Philadelphia 7 years ago. He is engaging and personable, and always ready to explain everything relating to whatever treatment he is providing. And he seems to love the challenge of a difficult problem to solve. Going to the dentist actually feels like seeing a friend!

I have been to many dentists in my day and have never been to a more thorough, kind and caring dentist. Dr. Rozanov really takes the time to LISTEN to your concerns and responds with thoughtful advice. He truly looks out for your best interests.

Best dentist I have ever been to. Modern, up-​to-​date with technology (and he likes it), up front with procedures and dental needs. Seems like the staff all like to be there. I have been going since he took over that practice years ago. I brought a co-​worker who was extremely dental-​phobia. She has been going ever since. Dr. R. had no façade, and it is nice to speak with him, he has enthusiasm for life.

Customer Care, thorough & experienced. 3 words to describe Dr. Rozanov & his practice. I began going to Dr R over 2 years ago when I moved into Center City. Up until this point I hopped around dentist to dentist in suburbia. I came to Dr Roazanov from recommendations from both my brother & sister in law and have since then recommended others to his practice (including my manfriend who has his first appt with him Wednesday)
Dr R has been overseeing my Invisalign treatment over the past year. It was a 1 year process up until my first set of treatment of Dr R ensuring that he had the perfect mold & numerous meetings with Invisalign rep to ensure I was getting the best of the best for my teeth. I couldn’t be more happier with the results thus far & his care. I would recommend him any day to anyone!

Let me first say, that like any normal person, I do not enjoy going to the dentist. When I started a new job back in center city, I had to find a new dentist, which was not the most pleasant of to-do’s. Dr. Rozanov’s office was close by and there were some good reviews online, so I decided to give it a shot.
In short, Dr. Rozanov knows what he’s doing. Most knowledgeable/​best dentist I’ve had yet. He takes time to explain everything carefully and is very helpful. He clearly cares about his patients and does great work. I had to get some pretty tough fillings (inner most molar, backside, beneath gum line) and he was patient and careful and gave me extra doses of localized Novocaine when I needed it. I don’t even think my last dentist diagnosed the problem because it was in such a hard location to see/​get a good x-​ray of.
What I appreciate most is that he doesn’t just fix problems as they come up — he’s very concerned about helping you maintain the health of your teeth/​gums and prevent issues before they come up, whether it means correcting a bite or pushing you hard to floss regularly (which worked!).
I’d have no hesitation recommending any of my friends/​colleagues to Dr. Rozanov — he is as stellar as it gets.

I don’t know that I’ve ever heard anyone say that they were excited to visit their dentist, and well, I’m still not one to find it to be an overall fun experience, but Dr. Rozanov has managed to make it a tolerable trip. I was referred to this doctor by co-​workers of mine, very convenient being that I work in the building which he is located. My first visit consisted of a full set of x-​rays that were not nearly as obnoxious in taking as I remember them to be from my younger years. Dr. Rozanov’s office has the technology to upload x-​rays instantaneously and was able to point out any imperfections in my otherwise lovely smile. Ha!
My previous dentist had asked me how I had chipped my front right «big tooth» (sorry for the lack of dental jargon), but failed to assess what was really happening in my mouth. On this first visit, and within a minutes worth of circular jaw motion, Dr. Rozanov was able to tell me that I had what is called «mandibular occlusion»…he sent me on my merry way that same day with a home remedy to cure my aching jaw and checks up on my situation every 6 months. He didn’t even charge a standard co-​pay for my visit, more than I can say for other doctors and dentists.
I think the worst word in the dental dictionary is «cavity» and even worse is when they tell you that it’s in between two molars, but he walked me through the process step by step and upped my dosage of novicaine every time the god-​awful drilling got to be too much, at one point I think I even had him using the smallest drill bit possible making the drilling difficult for him and only slightly more tolerable for myself. They also use some sort of very localized anesthetic that didn’t leave me with the feeling of a mouth full of marshmallows which was great for being able to go straight back to work.
My only complaint is that he doesn’t fill cavities with silver or any other metal compound, but instead uses amalgam. Esthetically, amalgam is more pleasing to the eye, but for me a cavity filled between molars doesn’t matter what is used. Amalgam is only covered partially in my dental insurance so the rest was paid out of pocket. I suppose there are worse things in life, but aside from the one minor setback out of pocket, he is the most gentle and knowledgeable dentist I have had since my kid dentist back home.
