Unfortunately I can not give this mall more than 3 stars. Let’s start with the positives. It is a big outdoor shopping center with many stores. You can get some shopping done and get some fresh air if the weather is nice. The prices are pretty reasonable also. The negatives are mainly centered around the neighborhood. It’s not one of the best places in Philly and attracts, as someone else put it, a lot of shady characters. There are also very rude people all over the place. If you know what you need and where to go it’s a nice place to shop where you can get in and get out.

My favorite GOTO place for things I need in a hurry. Nice friendly staff at the stores. And very excess able

Good place to go if you want to join a gang or get Rita’s Water Ice. May e that’s a bit too harsh. Most of the stores aren’t places I’d shop. Growing up my favorite store here was K*B Toys… Good times. But that was 20 years ago. Furthermore, it’s a strip mall, meaning it’s not an indoor mall. Cold weather shopping here? Eh no. And in the summer there are way too many females wearing things that don’t fit them or their daughters for that matter. That sounds like fun, right? It isn’t. I’m still giving this place 3 stars because of the sentimental value and because everything is relative [to location]. ps– Unilocal, how is this an average length review? Who is writing reviews? Leo Tolstoy?! (I always feel like Unilocal is mocking me when it says its average length! So now it’s longer than most!) ;)

I would give this mall a better rating if I was only rating it on its stores, but it unfortunately attracts a very sketchy crowd and it’s degraded over the years as a result. The modells here is pretty nice and the gamestop isn’t bad either, but the other stores have become knock off beauty stores and check cashing huts. On a side note, bobbys pretzel shack is amazing and the sole reason I still go here

At first I was really skeptical of the Roosevelt Mall. I didn’t think of it as a real mall because the stores are all outside. but I have found it to come in handy countless times in only a few weeks. Sears, Macy’s, Ross, Kicks and about twenty other stores in a convenient location.
