Ordinarily I would never have ordered from this place. However, I woke up not feeling well and needing to eat breakfast but not being up to cooking. Given that it’s a Sunday morning no one would be able to bring me anything until after worship services. I searched Grubhub for breakfast deliveries in my area and took a chance. A very pleasant surprise. Delivery was fast and food was literally smoking hot(a good thing in my book). I ordered a vegetable omelet platter. Food was delicious although I had to add a bit of salt to the potatoes, which is fine. I’d rather add salt then get something over-seasoned and inedible. Portions were generous, and everything was packaged well.

Over an hour wait for our $ 60+ order. Average fried seafood, with soggy fries and uncaring packaging of order with melted butter in everything. Cole Slaw was spoiled and unfortunately a person had taken a bite prior to smelling it. That person got sick. They also delivered a 2 liter bottle of expired Hawaiian Punch(Second time for that move). They also didn’t include salad dressing for another person’s order who got a grilled chicken César salad. After the person got sick, we called back and got a rude woman who argued how sick the individual was who ate the Cole slaw. We also informed them of the expired Hawaiian Punch and they said they would send out another bottle. Almost 90 minutes goes by waiting for the salad dressing and the 2 liter bottle of replacement soda. Upon meeting the delivery person, he hands us a 1 liter bottle of ginger ale and a small size of dressing. If you dare order from this place, be forewarned about the absolute Arrogance of this restaurant, if you want to call it that. I am dismayed that they even have customers.

I’ve gotten breakfast there a couple times, they have screwed up my order every time: wrong kind of eggs, putting bacon on my grilled cheese(really it was a cold cheese like sandwich) when I finally called to complain I got an extremely rude female employee who basically told me too bad. That girl needs to be fired. Finally got my money back through grubhub but I will NEVER eat there again. The food is pretty standard, not amazing, but the incompetence and shitty service is extraordinary.

If you want some sumptuous, fast, well cooked fried foods and crab legs, hit up the local spot. SS has changed owners hands over the years. But, their food is still high quality and good price. You can order up any amount of Fried chicken, shrimp, fishes, fries and crabs any way you like. They make the standard cheese steaks, burgers, and hoagies also. But, if you’re here you should be mouth watering for some seafood. They have medium to large size platters. They give you a nice size crown of broccoli, a tub of butter(real butter) in your platter, with a baked potato. The Shrimp are med to large so you definitely get your monies worth. Hell, if you want to get some syrup, Uncle Ben’s or Frosted Flakes they sell them too!

My first and LASTTIME eating here. I’m not a fan of battered fries and the best part of the fish hoagies was the bread! It was just frozen fish fried up and chopped. Terrible, just terrible. Garden of Bilal needs to re-open. Immediately!
