We are located at 1608 Walnut Street, Suite 601 and have enjoyed a great reputation in Philadelphia and cater to a most diverse group of patients. Our manipulation techniques are both aggressive and extremely conservative depending on the patient’s age and tolerance to manipulation. We also address the patient’s lifestyle, exercise programs and nutritional concerns as indicated.

Now I would like to introduce you to our staff. Our team includes Dr. Nutche, Dr. Snyman, Donna who takes care of billing and insurance issues, Karen takes care of scheduling, Donna Butler, CHC, AADP-​Nutrition & Corporate Wellness Consultant, Timothy Holmes, BS, CPT is the certified personal trainer, Tess and Migs are Licensed Massage Therapists, and Kerri, a Licensed Medical Assistant, assists the doctors. They will be able to answer any questions you may have. I am sure you will find each of them most competent and pleasant.

Business Owner

Dr. Jason Nutche received his Bachelors degree in Economics from The University of Pittsburgh while completing his pre-​med/​chiropractic requirements. He then attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he received extensive training not only chiropractic; but also, exercise rehabilitation of spinal and extremity joint injuries, temporal mandibular joint disorders, and Active Release Technique.

Dr. Nutche is currently a Pennsylvania-​licensed, Board Certified Chiropractic Physician and also holds a license in Adjunctive Procedures. He is also an active member of the International Chiropractic Associations Council on Wellness Science. Following a few years of practice in Illinois, Dr. Nutche returned to his home state to practice. From 2006 to 2009 he ran a successful practice in Upper Dublin Township in Montgomery County and in October of 2009 he purchased Snyman Chiropractic Group from Dr. Snyman. Dr. Nutche and Dr. Snyman will however continue to work together for many years to come

I’ve been going to Snyman Chiropractor for the past 3ish years and have seen Dr. Nutche primarily but have also seen Dr. Snyman and Dr. Nutche’s fill in. I chose them because of the close proximity to my work and found them through my insurance company. I grew up going to a chiropractor and stopped when I went away to college and never returned. My hips started bothering me years later and found Snyman chiropractor. They are very thorough. Not only do they adjust but they have other therapy options to help! I loved the stretches they showed me so that I could eliminate the pain.
After my hips felt better, I continued to go for routine adjustments for maintenance care. I recently gave birth to my first child and because I live outside the city, I haven’t been able to get back to the chiropractor in weeks. I pulled my shoulder (or did something of that nature) while giving birth and have been in a decent amount of pain for the past 7 weeks. I finally had a moment to get back to the chiropractor but had to bring my little one in with me. As a first time mom it was my first outing without my husband or an extra set of hands to help so I was nervous. Karen, the office assistant noticed my little one stirring when Dr. Nutche was ready to see me. She got up from her desk and rocked my son while I was getting adjusted. When she had to help another patient, one of the other assistants took her place. I couldn’t have felt more at ease while getting worked on. Not only did I leave feeling better (a few more visits and I’ll be in tip top shape) but I also left feeling like this office is more than just a doctor. Thank you Snyman Chiropractic Group!

I have been going to Dr. Snyman regularly for 7 years now. I read some complaints here about the length of the first appointment, which is true, but every appointment after that I’ve been seen quickly and I normally call day-​of looking for a time to go in with no problems.
I initially started treatment for a pain I’ve had since ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. I’m serious. In around 3rd or 4th grade I started having neck/​shoulder pain and usually had a tight muscle knot. My dad used to try to massage the knot out, but it never worked, and one time my pediatrician adjusted my neck for it. Eventually the neck pain started causing severe muscle spasms that would have me in tears and whoever was nearest to me had to rub that spot until I could function again. I tried one chiropractor when I was in college, but my neck always hurt more after an adjustment so I stopped going. I suffered with this for 16 years until the spasms started getting even more frequent and I noticed my touch sensitivity on that side was very dimished compared to the other side of my neck, so I decided to try a chiropractor again.
I randomly chose Dr. Snyman based on how close he is to my office. Every appointment includes an adjustment and if I’m unusually tight or in pain in any areas I’m given treatment on the roller table or with the TENS unit (electric therapy) or both. After just a few treatments the neck spasms stopped. In the past 7 years I’ve had maybe 4 muscle spasms when prior to that it was multiple times per week. I continue to get adjusted because I’ve noticed a reduction in headaches and my hips go out of alignment often.
I recently had a knee injury and received far more hands-​on care with Dr. Snyman than I have with my orthopedic doctor. The extent of the ortho appointments has been asking if I’m still in pain, checking if my kneecap was still loose, and referring me for physical therapy. The treatment with Dr. Snyman was an adjustment on my knee (it was hyperextended, something I asked the ortho about but was not given any treatment), checking the joint’s stability, electric therapy, & kinetic tape to help with some lingering pain. I already noticed my walk back to my office was easier.
Occassionaly, due to scheduling, I have received treatment from Dr. Nutche and he has always been equally attentive and provided great care.

I was referred to Dr. Nutche by a friend, and I think that he is outstanding! I visited other chiropractors before Dr. Nutche, and they could not rectify my neck and back issues. I had major issues with knots right under my shoulder blades and neck pain. The countless massages I got over the past few years would help for a few hours, but then the knots would persist. After visiting Dr. Nutche, I realized that regular chiropractic adjustments were the way to go. It is much more than a hi how are you, crack my back, and I’ll see you next time. He takes the time to ensure you understand everything that is out of place, the reason why, and how he will fix it. They also ask where you are havving pain before every visit to ensure they concentrate on that area. I have never been disappointed. I have 2 visitsd left and i already feel like i am cured of the neck pain and the knots are finally gone!
His staff is also very hospitable and nice. Tim (the trainer), Karen (the receptionist), and the 2 women that help with the machines are all very accomodating and professional. As i travel often for business, i had a few scheduling changes that they were able to accomodate with another day or later time when Dr. Nutche was in the office… very easy.
The office is very clean (i see Tim wiping down the mats every time i go in) and in a convenient location for center city professionals. I have already recommended him to a coworker and will continue to do so to others.

I have been coming to Snyman for a while now and couldn’t be happier. I don’t trust a lot of people when it comes to chiropractic care, so I asked my old chiropractor Dr. Scott Walker from Chalfont, PA who I should see once I moved to the city. Right away he said «Go to Snyman» and I did.
I’ve had some issues with my neck and upper back from sitting in front of a computer all day. Before coming to Snyman I would always be in pain and I’d basically OD on Advil everyday. Dr. Nutche has been treating me for this twice a week along with physical therapy and I feel SO much better. The tension and shooting pain I used to have is basically gone. I know that even when my neck issues are resolved, I’m still going to go to Snyman.
I like that they’re open late a few days a week for those of us who work after 5pm. I look forward to going to my appointments and will always be a loyal patient to Snyman!

this is not a review of the care provided by the office. the chiropractor referred to below is Dr. Nutche.
On August 23, 2011 at 1 pm or so, i went for a first treatment at this office. After about an hour in the office, the chiropractor took me into the X-​ray room, to x-​ray my neck. He asked me to remove my necklace. This necklace was white gold, with a blue sapphire surrounded by small diamonds, given to me as a gift following the birth of my son in 2003. We designed it and it was made by Henry David, at Halloween. Obviously, a sentimental piece of jewelry. I was not directed to a secure place for my necklace and was directed to place it on the chair. After the x-​ray, the necklace was forgotten because i was so flustered by the length of time this visit was taking. I left the office a little later for a total of 90 minutes.
i called at 7 pm when i realized i didnt have my necklace. i left a message as no one answered. i called the office at 9 am and got the receptionist and the office manager. neither were nice. they claimed they could not find my necklace and there was nothing they could do. i spoke with the chiropractor, who claimed that no one had any idea what happened to my nacklace. I implored him to speak witht he buiidling management. although the chiropractor tried to pin it on the cleaning people, he said the buidling said there was nothing they could do. i asked him to wave his fee and said i would be reporting to the police. I requested that he speak to his insurer.
i then obtained a police report and delivered it with a note recounting the event, apprising him of the approx. value of the necklace ($ 1200) and asking that he «endeavor to make this situation right without us filing a claim in court.» When i did not hear back, i called. he accused me of trying to pass off a silver necklace as gold and said that waving the $ 180 fee for the office visit was more than generous. i said that if they didnt offer to pay half the value i would feel the need to let the public know that my necklace had been stolen in his office. he was nasty. that is where i left it. At no point was anyone nice or helpful. He will say i tried to extract money from him, but thats right, i asked for ½ the value of a very special piece of jewelry. i thought that was more than fair.
