I learned that this place was under new management while I was there but the new owners have really taken the negative reviewers’ suggestions and created a lovely and very thorough mani/pedi experience! Lots of exfoliation and massage. Very attentive and no overwhelming odors of chemicals or creams. The gel mani I received has lasted incredibly well. I usually start to pick at it because there are excess pieces but this was the most attentive and best gel mani I have ever received! AND it was $ 40TOTAL! I will definitely be back. My only complaint is that there are only two people working there so you might have to wait.

This place ruined my nails! I had UV gel polish on my nails when I walked in and asked if they did UV gel polish. She said they do, but they don’t recommend it, b/c it ruins your nails. Since they do the gel polish, I assumed they knew how to remove it. She did not! She picked at each nail, unsuccessfully chipping away at the polish. When it wouldn’t come off that way(you need to soak the nails in a solution), she used a dremmel to SAND the polish off my nails(unheard of). She sanded off a layer of each nail AND didn’t even buff it out. Every nail looks like wood that has been sanded and not smoothed out, with lines everywhere. She used regular polish and the lines actually show through. As soon as she finished polishing the last nail, she sprayed that quick-dry stuff on them.(That spray takes the shine off AND should not be used before putting your hands under the dryer. Use the drying oil, most salons have, AFTER using the hand dryer.) I had to ASK for the drying machine with the fan and UV light that sets the polish, which she THEN let me use. Really??? She didn’t have those machines for the feet, so I asked for the spray to dry my toes to put on my shoes. She said, «No, because it ruins the shine.» Ha! BTW, my nails began chipping that night!!! I didn’t research the salon and nobody recommended it to me, but I never thought that any salon wouldn’t know how to do nails. I’ve never written a bad review before, but i want to warn you not to go here!

I moved to the neighborhood relatively recently and have been looking for the«perfect» nail salon in my area. It’s cheap, but that’s about it. The people are REALLY nice, but the pedicures are totally no-frills, exactly how Michelle B. explained. No massaging or exfoliation, and the massage chair itself wasn’t working properly. It was pretty much equivalent to a pedicure I’d give myself. Not going back.

This place is a little far from where I work but I love the people here. They are very nice and Anne does very good nails. This place is nice and clean and they also do awesome eyebrows. I guess because they take alot of appointments, most walk ins are usual the kids from schools around the way. Ask them for deals! Great place to go if you wanna save some money!

My little sister and her friends took here one day because it was right around the corner from their school. I have to say that they are very friendly. I just got a manicure & Pedicure, they have great deals! it was only $ 25. That’s pretty cheap for a clean nail salon.

Continuing my quest to find a decent pedicure in this city, I visited this salon today. I almost didn’t write this b/c the people were sooo nice, but $ 20 is $ 20 and I wouldn’t waste it here again. A friend recommended the salon to me and she obviously had the woman of the husband/wife team that owns this place. I had the husband and, just as I have found before, men simply do not know what they are doing in this arena. There was no exfoliation of my feet, no cuticle work, nails left way too long yet again, tepid water and a crappy application of the base coat. Interestingly, he did not apply the color, but left that for his wife. Obviously, his application is so poor that he is not allowed to do color and NOTOPCOAT!!! That’s a definite first for me. I have been to salons before that don’t do cuticle work, but as I waiting for my toes to try, the wife started on another client and began cutting her cuticles and removing dead skin from the bottom of her feet. My cuticles weren’t even pushed back so they are covered in polish. I have been to this kind of salon before where there is one person who does a good job and builds up the rep of the place, but the majority of customers don’t get that person. Seems like a bait and switch job to me. While everyone can’t be the best, the rest of the staff could at least be proficient. Like I said, I almost didn’t write this b/c they were so friendly. But, as I was leaving, the husband took the time to talk to me about how it was a family business and they take the time to do things right. I do like to support family-owned businesses, but not the expense of quality. The quest continues …
