Squeaky Green by Thomas

I first hired Tom as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom last year and he’s been with us ever since. My mom loves Tom and thinks of him as a son. He brings his own cleaning supplies, which do NOT have an overpowering smell. We have trusted Tom alone in our home. He is very affordable.

I contacted Thomas on really short notice, and he went above and beyond to help out! He did a tremendous job cleaning our place and was extremely thorough and professional. He was also extremely good about keeping in touch and checking what our priorities were and did everything he could to make sure all went smoothly. Very highly recommended — thanks so much for the super job!

I hired Thomas to clean my new house before moving in. I had never used a cleaning service before and was hesitant since I usually do all cleaning myself, but I am so glad Thomas came! The house looks amazing — smells great, everything sparkles, and there is no dirt or grime.
Thomas was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. Throughout the process of setting up the appointment and even day of, Thomas is great via phone call, text, and email. He even conducts a walk through the day before your service. He was fun and an extremely nice guy, and I can’t wait to hire Thomas again for future cleanings. I would give him 6 starts if I could!

We had never used a cleaning service in the past and were nervous after reading some of the reviews for larger services on the internet (revolving door of people coming to your home, the service being hours late for a scheduled appointment, customer service, etc.) so we searched Unilocal and stumbled upon Tomas Warfel Home Care Services. A little bit of research turned up that Thomas had started this endeavor in San Francisco and brought it with him to Philadelphia after a recent move. The reviews on Unilocal convinced us that we should give it a try…
…and boy are we glad we did. A few of the main points:
1. Thomas carries himself in an extremely professional manner. From the initial conversations on the phone to the very detailed e-​mails that followed, I always felt that I knew exactly what was going on, and I liked that. I received a detailed list of the services that were included, supplies I should have handy, and e-​mail confirmations and reminders about appointments.
2. He showed up right on time for the appointment.
3. After having us do a walkthrough of all the rooms (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, 1.5 bathrooms) to point out any areas requiring special attention, Thomas performed an incredibly thorough clean… not an easy feat considering that the place hadn’t been professionally cleaned in over 2 years. Did I mention we have 2 dogs… that shed? Yes, this was long overdue…
4. …so long overdue, in fact, that the appointment took a bit longer than anticipated. Thomas stayed to get the job done without us having to ask — and furthermore actually said that we only owed him for the time he originally quoted us it would take. Class act!
5. On top of it all, as some of the other reviewers have commented, Thomas is a genuinely nice guy and a pleasure to be around — a trait that can’t be overlooked since you are inviting this person into your home.
We will continue to utilize Thomas’s services moving forward and have already scheduled our next appointment. I would recommend to any of my friends or colleagues in Philadelphia without hesitation.

I’m glad I called Thomas to clean my apartment before I moved out of my apartment. I frantically called him one morning and he very calmly went over each detail of what needed to be cleaned and other specifics.
I was amazed at the wonderful job he did. Thanks to Thomas-​I was leaving the apartment much cleaner than I even got it when I moved in. He diligently cleaned the bathroom, the kitchen, all the floors and carpet, windows, fans-​everything!
And that’s not even the best part. Thomas is a thorough professional and an extremely warm person. I highly recommend his cleaning services and will be calling him for a regular cleanup in my new apartment every month!

I called Thomas because of all the positive reviews he had, and WOW did Thomas sure do an amazing job! From the moment I called him, Thomas was very personal and asked me for my name, something that no other cleaner has done. He is a professional at what he does and customer satisfaction is his #1 priority.
On the day of the cleaning, Thomas texted me ahead of time to let me know that since he could possibly be 10 – 15 minutes late, he would stay an extra half-​hour without charging me additional $. Funny thing was that he wasn’t even late, and he still stayed over longer to finish cleaning each room! Thomas is a very flexible and understanding person and wants to help you clean your residence!
Before the cleaning, Thomas also asked to have a walkthrough of the house, so that I could point out specific points for him to clean. Along the way, he even provided suggestions of how to clean certain objects. He pays attention to even the most minute details. Whenever he wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted cleaning, he would ask instead of assuming. My apartment is a hundred times cleaner after Thomas was done.
Thomas knew how to clean basically everything in my apartment. At the end, he even offered to throw away my trash for me! Thomas is an efficient worker, but more importantly, he takes the time to be on a personal level with his clients. And as the cherry on top, he is very affordable as well. If you need a cleaner who will be punctual, economical, competent, and friendly, no one in Philadelphia can beat Thomas. He is the full package.

Tommy was amaing! He turned my bathroom into a spa, my shower is cleaner then when I first moved in 2 years ago. He organized my kitchen drawers and cupboards better than I could have, for sure. Very innovative and time efficient too. I will definetly be using him again to do my bedroom closets.

Thomas did an excellent job cleaning my apartment today. His intense attention to detail could be seen throughout my entire apartment and he worked very hard to make sure everything was absolutely perfect.
He is very flexible on tailoring his routine to best satisfy your needs. For example, he changed our bed sheets out and then told me that next time, he could even help with my wash in between cleaning the rest of the place. How awesome is that? Furthermore, how above and beyond is that level of service? Stellar!

Thomas cleaned my sublet the other day. He was very thorough, asked plenty of questions so it was clear that we were in agreement about what was to be done, and generally left me feeling like the job was in capable hands.
There were a few things that he moved around the bathroom and didn’t put back, but other than that, I’d wholeheartedly recommend him. Thanks Thomas!
