Worse service ever received! Their register doesn’t accept mobile payment for some reason, I told the cashier I would pay with my card if it was to much of an inconvenience and she flipped out! The if manager can’t control those girls why are they still employed! All I ordered was a hot chocolate and the first one was thrown in the trash because she wasn’t going to make it. I’m in complete disbelief. She continued to curse and stare me down if front of everyone in line.

I can’t believe the service that I just received at this Starbucks the employees are unprofessional and ratchet the girl that wears the scarf around her head threw my friends drink away and refused to make it she starting yelling and said she wasn’t doing anything for him I was in disbelief and to top it off the manager just stood there and watched I couldn’t believe that a Starbucks is allowing their employees to treat their guest that way I love the brand but this location is horrible and I will never return

Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been. The only reason they stay in business is because they are on campus. The staff is rude, obnoxious and otherwise inattentive. I tried to redeem a reward from my Starbucks app and they refused to honor it. However, they do accept it to pay. Hands-down the worst Starbucks ever in the history of mankind.

Want to be late to class or an appointment? Come to this Starbucks. You know you’re desperate for GOOD coffee when you’re willing to wait in a 20 minute line, when there are other places that sell coffee around campus. The coffee, was good, the staff moved as quickly as they could, but they had one person working the register and a line of 50 people at a time. Starbucks should hire more staff for this location to please customers and ease the burden on their employees.

Consistency. With large chains consistency is the key to success. With Starbucks you know you can walk into a store in Philadelphia and get the same, solid cup of coffee as a store in Ohio. This particular Starbucks is consistent. CONSISTENTLYDISAPPOINTING. Try the Barnes and Noble Starbucks coffee on broad instead.

Although it’s very convenient to come here as an employee, every time I come here, the same worker ALWAYS handles the money and the food. Gross.

I would consider this a «Starbucks Express», they are often out of many items, and I was once told that they literally did not have any coffee whatsoever, however especially during late hours a 24 hour Starbucks definitely comes in handy

This is my favorite place that I love to hate. I only go here cause I am a starbucks phene, and I get a consistent flow of gift cards and the Barnes and Noble does not accept Starbucks gift cards. The staff for the most part is RUDERUDERUDE. I have to ask a zillion times for my cup to be filled more, they always roll their eyes at me when I hand them my refillable cup, sorry my dad bought me a refillable coup and a giftcard, I’m a broke college student who needs caffiene. It is in a pretty convenient location on campus so thats why I keep returning.

This Starbucks is one of the most hit or miss establishments that I’ve ever patronized. Sometimes you get a nice person helping you who makes your drink well, and sometimes you get… uhh…something entirely different. There have been countless times where I went in for a beverage and was told that they did not have the ingredients necessary to make it. There was a straight week where they were out of ice. Like, really? Ice? Usually the service is terrible, usually there are 1,000 people in line, usually the cups aren’t filled to the top, and usually the employees spend more time talking to one another than they do talking to the customers… but sometimes everything goes off without a hitch. So, this review isn’t really helpful. Oh, they don’t take any Starbucks promotional materials. So maybe that will help you make up your mind?

Inconsistent drink quality and you all too often get TERRIBLE service. Most of the staff are far more concerned with their conversations amongst each other and with chatting up their friends who come in to mooch free drinks to serve the paying customers. I can’t adequately describe how consistently terrible the service is. Loosing orders, charging the wrong amount, having to repeat your order over and over and over again all while you are made to feel you are interrupting the staff’s social hour is no way to run a business. Until I hear rumors that there has been a massive change in the service, the TECH Center Starbucks is in indefinite time out with me. Starbucks HQ really needs to step in and deal with the poor quality seen at this Sodexo-run hell hole.

I had few bad experiences with this Starbucks. First, the quality(or taste) of the drinks is not consistent, sometime, it is strong, too strong,(I had a green tea latte that taste BITTER), sometimes it is tasteless,(had a mocha that taste like water)… Second is the service. The last time I came here, after I placed my order, I thought maybe I should reload my Starbucks card too. So I hand my money and card to the staff, she said«Next time you reload before you order». How in the world do I know which way is more convenient for you!!! Not even a PLEASE? really!!! Now I rather walk few blocks away to the Barnes and NOble Starbucks on Broad St to get my drinks. Atleast their service and drinks are comparable to other Starbucks. I think since we are paying for our drinks, we deserve to get a good quality drinks, not just drinks with a brand without quality!!! Starbucks company should really look into this…

Comes up as a Starbucks location on (unlike those B&N types that«serve» Starbucks but are not a part of the company). Walked in to get the free drink promotion and was met with a sign: «We don’t participate in corporate promotions.» Why did I walk all that way when I could have headed to the B&N across the street? SO, just to warn all of you at Temple – don’t get too excited about this location.

«Caters» may be too strong of a word — this 24⁄7 Starbucks«accommodates» procrastinators and time-wasters cramming last minute papers or idling away the witching hours at Temple’s massive 24⁄7 Tech Center(i.e. computer lab). Lord knows how many papers I may never have churned out without the assistance of this Starbucks’ Venti Bold induced caffeine comas. The managers know their late-night owls may go here more out of necessity than voluntariness. The price is a few quarters more than other Starbucks. The coffee is always served lukewarm with lots of room for cream. At 4AM with a 8AM deadline looming and your eyelids sagging, you have little choice but to keep coming back for more and more. It’s a shame the otherwise charming joint feels like such a racket. I can imagine that hours could drift by watching the affable lot of space cadet, blipster, and crunk punk barristas attempt to man the bar. They fumble and spill everything, they talk about left field TMI personal issues, they always apologize for the always broken ice machine. You’d love to curl up in one of the nooks, crannies, and hiding spaces that fill the dimly lit café. But, yea, there’s that paper, there’s that GChat conversation, to attend to.
