My favorite place to tan! This beautiful girl with the longest hair took such good care of me! Another time I went Kenlyn and Kara were working together and were so funny!

Love this place! The prices are awesome and most of the staff is really kind, however, I say most because one of the girls who works almost everyday is extremely inconsiderate and needs to smile more. She barely even says hi. If I had any advice to the owner, it would be to replace her!

Love this place! I’m new to tanning but the whole place is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they seem to run a lot of promotions/​the upgrades are very cost effective. I’m glad I joined.

I am an tanning snob. I want a fun, cost effective and clean place to take my tanning naps.
The staff that works there are so nice and so very helpful! They aren’t pushy about selling products to you. I find this refreshing because a lot of people try to jump down your throat to sell you a $ 130 bottle of tanning lotion that normally ends up smelling terrible which then causes you to have a restless tanning nap full of buyers remorse.
They are very knowledgeable about the products they have in house and give a sincere and honest opinion. Whether it be «it’s not the best bronzer», «this one smells better», or «this one is one sale». I’ve never been unhappy with a product I’ve purchased.
Let’s be real, tanning isn’t the cheapest… But Sun Tan City always has great specials (free first sunless tanning — might be what really pulled me in). They have so many options of packages and tanning specials that you aren’t breaking the bank just to get some color.
The wait times sometimes can be a little long, however they do have a feature where you can check the wait times online or on your phone to help you plan accordingly.
Even if you have to wait a few minutes, I have never found it to be obnoxious. There is always good music, you can look/​ask about products, and you can tell the girls are actively trying to make the wait times faster which is refreshing.
Yunkers, it’s worth the drive up the hill! Plus there’s starbs right next door!
