I don’t mind paying $ 3 per taco as long as is worth it; but this tacos were small, the tortilla tough and the flavor was decent at best.

Yes. This place is a heck yes. The set up is cozy and calm. The tacos are to die for and after three I had to convince myself not to buy three more. Wish it was open all year but alas the food truck model doesn’t allow for that.

One of those gems you’re just happy to stumble upon. A truck, with cute outdoor seating framed by string lights and wood. I came with three friends this morning(Sunday) and the only thing on the menu was breakfast burritos. Came with home fries, beans, eggs, etc. for $ 5 with the option to add chicken for $ 6. I did that! The size of the burrito was great– not too big and not too small. Though the tortillas did not taste as fresh as I would have liked them to taste, the filling was great and heavy. I topped my burrito with the green and red salsas which added a bit of a tangy pang. Overall, such a cute place. I fell in love with the concept and the homey feel of the place. Definitely a keeper!

These were very solid tacos. The meat is very nicely stewed and the toppings(radish, cilantro, lime, and this type of coleslaw) are abundant. My only concern is that when you want a complete dinner you’re going to want 4 tacos, or 3 and chips and salsa or something else. That brings you to 12 dollars, with just enough to feel more or less full. I think the tacos should really be 2.50. Sides of guac would also be nice. That said, the chef/owner is also really sweet and overall, what a lovely west philly taco biergarten!

I looove Taco Angeleno. I always get the vegan seitan tacos. Not only do I not understand another review who said they were rubbery, I think they might be talking about a different place. The seitan tacos at Taco Angeleno are amazing. I crave them. I would like to eat three of them right now. The toppings are great even though I thought I wouldn’t like them and had my first set of tacos without them. That was a bad idea because once I tried them but I will never go back. I walk down and get vegan Little Baby ice cream afterward. I love everything about this place — not just the food. It is just a great atmosphere. BYOB. On rainy days they have specials!

Cute taco stand where you could order the entire menu for less than $ 25. Although it is just a truck it has four picnic tables in a nice yard(including a nice small play yard for kids). BYOB.

Great food, but a bit pricey. $ 3 for a taco… But it was a delicious taco! Check it out next time you’re in town.

Between my love for food trucks, my love for tacos, and my love for all things West Philly, I really wanted to like this place more than I do. This review is only for the seitan tacos though. They just weren’t anything really special. The seitan itself was just really bland and sort of rubbery. I know seitan is easy to mess up, but when it’s done right it can be so good. I do appreciate the inclusion of a vedge option I just wish it was either seitan done well, a different fake meat or preferably just some kind of veggies,

Darn good! I had the chicken, beef, and pork taco. Each type of meat had a distinct flavor. I was a little skeptical of the condiments but they were the perfect compliment to the meat. The outdoor space is charming and reminds me of being in LA. The owner??? is very friendly and warm. I can’t wait to go back. My only request is that the hours are increased once people recognize this gem.

I’m a big fan of small businesses and taco angeleno its small but big in taste and passion. You’ll never meet a nicer person running this food cart which sits in a reclaimed yard with picnic tables and beautiful lighting(pretty genius actually) You might wait in line for a while, but its worth it. You get 3 options of meat(chicken, beef, and seitan which i know isnt meat lol) and old fashion taco fixings. If anyone has ever been to a family owned Mexican restaurant you know what i mean. The prices are fair for that area of the city and its a nice addition to west philly which is usually just full of pizza shops, indian food spots and vegan cafes.

Really amazing tacos. Had the chicken and beef. Terrific. Philly has pretty poor taco selection, this place is really needed.

My husband and I love this place so much! One of those kinds of places where we both can get tasty food(me: veg, him: omni) — seitan tacos for me and chicken and pork tacos for him. The owner is really nice and usually her twin girls are hanging out there with her husband, so I feel OK about my toddler running around =) They did a brunch pop-up recently with breakfast burritos. I hope they do it again because I am still dreaming of the seitan breakfast burrito. Cash only, BTW.

I always smile when I walk down the street and see the gate open. Vanessa(whose name I learned here) is so incredibly nice, and I love supporting her business. The tacos are wonderful, the toppings are fresh and delicious, and the ambiance in the seating area is relaxed and makes me proud to live in West Philly. I’d love to see her business expand!

I was so happy to have another taco option in this part of West Philly, in the form of an authentic West Coast style taco truck. The seitan tacos are wonderful marinated deliciousness. The fixings are all homemade as well, with two different sauces to choose from. Get there early as they sometimes run out.

I am so glad Vanessa dealt with all the red tape necessary to get this place up and running. It’s perfect. The tacos are fantastic, the toppings bar is wonderful, and the hot sauces are both complex and delicious. I see many taco dinners in my future. PROTIP: BYOB and bring your love here for a late sunset taco date. Perfect evening.

I am an LA native, living in philly for five years now and it’s taken me that long to find great tacos! This little place is a slice of heaven. Not only are the tacos delicious, the owner Vanessa is a peach, and the picnic bench seating is a beautiful way to spend a summer night. It’s well worth the hike out west.

Wow! Such good tacos. I went to their grand opening this evening to try it out. They have a really beautiful, outdoor only space. At night it is very nicely lit and I think It really lends itself to the outdoor street food experience. And the food? Amazing. Definitely on my list of best taco spots in the city. Perfectly cooked tortilla wrapped around a meat of your choice. DIY fixins’ bar on the the cart and some excellent hot sauces to compliment. I will be back soon.

LA-style tacos, now on weekends in Cedar Park, West Philly. Simply the yummiest tacos ever, in chicken, beef, pork or seitan, plus Mexican coca-cola and water. Add your own toppings: fresh cilantro, spicy slaw, radishes, lime, homemade green or red salsa. Purchase them from the sweet little stand, consume them in the lovely backyard setting. Repeat. Thurs-Sat 5 – 9 or until they run out, May-October.
