The Cave

Pros:
1) Good dancers that give attention to all ladies. There were three dancers and all were really nice — gave attention to each and every lady present.
Yea… that’s about the only pro.
Cons:
1) Worst bartender I’ve ever seen. He was using two plastic mini cups (not even Solo) as a makeshift cocktail shaker. We ordered lemon drops and he wandered off for ten minutes and came back to say he didn’t have the sugar, so we would have to just have vodka shots. Just awful. Awful. I almost felt bad for him. Oh, and yes, there’s only one bartender there.
2) GHETTO setup. This place is on the third floor, and it looks like it’s a banquet hall for bingo and bar mitzvahs during the day. Like mirrored walls, drop ceiling, circular tables, and tacky chairs. The «stage» is three boxes thrown together. The lighting looks like half of the lights the DJ had at your middle school dance.
3) Monnnnney. Doesn’t a place like this require access to cash? There are two ATM’s on the first floor — so you have to leave the show and go downstairs to get cash. And when I did this, both ATMs were worthless (one broken, one out of cash).
Note– you aren’t gonna see penis, so get your expectations prepared. I think this is about local laws and not about the venue.
Entry is $ 20, hot seats are $ 25. Hot seats are when the girl gets up on stage and gets a very public lap dance. The dancers will go around and then give ladies in the audience mini lap dances (a minute or two long).

Okay, so the Cave is apparently great if you don’t know and have never ever had satisfying sex.
The show is currently being held at Finnegan’s Wake in Philadelphia. One of my girlfriends said this isn’t their regular spot but we had no idea if this is temporary or what. I guess the other spot is a little better.
The DJ was amusing as the host in an annoying kind of way, but he fibs and he dropped the beat quite a few times when the music was on. There is NO penis at this show. Just buff dudes in bikini briefs, not even thongs. I would have liked to see some ass, just saying, you go to a girlie review and you get more bang for your buck.
We went on Sat night, we made reservations because they made it sound like there would be standing room only, but it was fairly empty, Its standing room only because they only put out 4 tables that seat like 6. Other wise there was plenty of room for more people. Admission is $ 20. There was some confusion if the Finnegan’s wake bachelorette all you can drink package can be applied to the cave. OH DON’T get the expensive Cave bachelorette package, totally not worth it.
The show: Was 3 dudes basically dry humping girls in the «hot seat» Yes ladies for $ 25 dollars you can sit in a chair on stage and get dry humped by a hot dude… Only one guy Emilo was any good, he did a little dance, not a great strip tease but he knew how to work the crowd. After the guys do their stage set they walk around the floor earning tips. Sebastien and the Itallian Stallion Dennis, just walked around and collected dollars to dry hump girls. Emilo walked around chatted, danced, dry humped, rubbed sweaty man body on you and made it a genuinely good time. He earned his tips, where in my opinion, the other 2 guys walked around and expected them. Like male hookers with out the wet work…
It was cheap, the guys didn’t seem gay, but if you get the real thing at home, you have to make the time fun for yourself. The show wasn’t a stand alone great time that will lift everyone’s spirits.

There was really nothing appealing about this place. The «performances» consisted of drunk bachelorettes being called to the stage, where they were bent over a chair so the stripper could hump them from behind. When mingling with the audience, the strippers were creepy and totally crossed a line, doing things like grabbing our breasts (under the shirt!), yanking our hair, etc. We left early to avoid further violation. I’d been to male revues before, but never experienced anything quite this raunchy. If you’re looking for that, then you’d love this place, otherwise I’d recommend staying away.

i went here for a friend’s birthday party and later swore off male strip clubs. the women were crazy, the men were greased down, and it was impoosible to get a drink.

I’ve been to two bachelorette parties here and this place is always fun. I know it sounds cheesey to go to a male strip bar, but you really get caught up in the mob rule. The men are gorgeous and fun. It’s also fun to go dancing out in club Flow after the party.

I was just here last weekend for a bachelorette party. I agree with Mia’s review — the guys were pretty sweet, but the host was annoying. Being from out of town, I was a bit nervous about safety — and apparently there were some questionable drug-​related activities going on in the bathroom, but I felt completely fine in the Cave. It was smaller than I had imagined, but no matter. We were all comfortably accommodated, and no one was smoking so that was cool. The guys were nice, something for everyone. They were polite and seemed to communicate well about what they were doing before they did anything, even to the girls who were on stage for a «hot seat» or lap dance. They only got really raunchy if you wanted them to. Good time had by all.

Yeah, wow. The Cave was definitely an experience. Located in the back of Flow Nightclub, the Cave is Philadelphia’s only male review. And what a review it was!
The men are gorgeous and the show is fun. The music is amazing and did I mention the men are gorgeous?! Definitely a great place for a ladies night out. Thursdays are college night — 18 to enter 21 to drink — which is a bit inconvenient because you have to go upstairs to the bar. Apparently the downstairs bar is open on Fri/​Sat.
My one pet peeve — the host of the show got on my nerves so bad. He really messed up the flow of the show. Theoretically it would be 4 ½ stars, but the men are gorgeous!
