I dropped my laptop and the hard drive died. Fred saved the day – a new hard drive along with Windows 7 and my computer was good as new. I highly recommend Tristate Computech – great service and reasonable prices!

Great Service!
My laptop just died in the middle of a business meeting. Took it to the store and Fred (owner) fixed it perfectly. Told me that it would take 24 hours and it ended up taking 36 but not a big deal. Didn’t charge me anything on top of the original $ 70 service fee although I would definitely have paid more if he asked. Great service and would definitely recommend.

After looking endlessly for a decent computer repair shop in Philly, I stumbled across Tri-​State Computech. I was having a difficult issue to solve with my computer and Fred at Tri-​State Computech gave me fantastic service.
He tested out my CPU at first and it wasn’t the issue, so I later brought my full build in and he tested all the parts and let me know the my motherboard was causing the problem. He did this all for a great price and actually worked PAST his usual closing time for a Saturday.
If I have any future problems with my computer, I’m going straight back to Tri-​State Computech.

Top-​notch computer repair service. I have an HP envy sleek book (2012, purchased for $ 600) that I accidentally dropped on its corner. The hinge broke making it impossible to close the lid without breaking the plastic casing around the edge of the screen. Fred, the owner, fixed the hinge part with a beautifully installed screw that is not even visible. I can now close my laptop, the job took 2 days, and he charged all of $ 74. Definitely bring your computer woes to this shop.

My laptop was overheating and shutting down. Also, I need Windows 8 exorcised from my laptop. Fred did it fast and reasonable. One day and I was back in business. Very professional and very good. Very happy.

I have been coming here for the past 5 – 6 years and they have always been great at fixing any computer problems that I have been having.
I’m pretty confident that I will be purchasing a refurbished laptop from them in the upcoming weeks. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is that it is quite common to come to the shop and not find anyone there. Pretty typical for a small business but can be quite annoying when one has limited time. Just a heads up to call before going there.

I tried and failed at installing a new lcd screen on my Samsung laptop. I brought it to Tri-​State and the owner (?) fixed it in record time for a very reasonable price, much less than other quotes I received in the area. Honest, fast, and efficient. I will definitely return.
