If you ever find yourself driving and suddenly everywhere you look there is a pharmacy — and they are all Walgreens! You will be convinced you have lapsed in to the Twilight Zone But don’t worry you are just in Northeast Philly driving down the strip of Bustleton Ave between Grant Ave to Philmont Ave. There are a total of 8 pharmacies on this strip (used to be 9 but the Eckerd closed). This Walgreen’s is at the corner of Bustleton Ave & Byberry Rd. It is new, well lit, and has a big parking lot. Problem is it is hard, due to traffic at this intersection and lane restrictions on Bustleton, to get in and out of the parking lot.
