Do not go to this Walgreens. Their customer service is atrocious. I had them develop some film and I received 4⁄24 pictures from the camera. After chasing them down for a week always getting a «so and so will call you» I went back to the store and was told nothing could be done. Not even a refund

Just don’t… There’s a CVS across the street. Save yourself and go there! Every time I come to this Walgreens, I regret it immediately. Even if you’re stopping in to quickly pick something up, you’ll likely be waiting in line for 10 – 15 minutes and the employees are typically rude and/or seemingly miserable. Not worth it when there are at least 3 other drug stores within a few blocks.

I love the particular location @ 9th& Market Sts in Philly, it is one block from my job and I love the friendliness of the sales associates. Overall, most of the Walgreens I frequent are typically well stocked and have cool sales. I never have a problem returning items either, the customer service is top notch. I recommend Walgreens over Rite-Aid any day!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Hours posted on Unilocal and hours on voice mail say 9:00, but they close at 7:00 on Sundays. Walked down a sketchy street after dark for nothing.

I needed a last minute poster for a bridal shower and when kinkos failed the job miserably walgreens got it done quick and right. The work was top notch and i was able to order it through my phone and it was done within an hour!!! The young lady at the counter even cut it to fit my frame free of charge and the total was only 17 bucks far cheaper than the 45 bucks half price sale kinkos was charging. Walgreens made my day!!!

This is a review for their pharmacy: Stopped by with the GF who had to pick up something at the pharmacy. Clean, quick, and efficient on a Saturday afternoon. The pharmacy tech was extremely nice and helpful. Clean location as well!

Went to get my passport photos done and the photo area was very crowded so the wait was a bit long, but the photo tech, Juan, was super nice and helpful, definitely going back for all my photo needs!

In terms of drugstores I’d rather go elsewhere. I stopped in for some smart water on a particularly parched day. Grabbed my bottles and headed over to the register. When I went to pay for my food, the cashiers were busy paying for their food, so I had to wait, which would have been fine if they were on break– which they weren’t. They then commenced to open said food and eat(and talk about how hungry they were to each other) while I was waiting to pay for my purchase. That just speaks to their overall lack of hygiene and lack of customer service– where they can eat food, handle money, and deal with customers at the same. I paid for my waters and headed out. I’ll probably just stick to the Rite Aid across the street from now on.

The sales associate here was really nice to us. I was looking for some postcards and she was very helpful by walking me over to the area of postcards. She also differentiated the postcards for me by telling me the price of each sized postcard. After I had picked out the ones I liked, she ran back behind the register to complete my check out. As this Walgreens is located on Market Street, there were a few weirdos walking around the store trying to talk to me. Stranger danger!

I have always liked Walgreens better than most of the other drugstores in the area. They always have the best prices and decent stuff. Today, I went into this one Walgreens to pick up some stuff. I paid with a debit card, and the machine was malfunctioning. It said to hit«yes» if the amount was correct. It was correct, but for some reason, the«yes» button was malfunctioning. The girl behind the counter– a 20-something black female– got annoyed with me, although she could obviously see me pressing the«yes» button. She goes, «You have to press yes. See, you can use your fingertip.» She was being very snarky towards me, and I don’t take bullshit from any bitch who makes minimum wage at a fucking Walgreens. I say, «Yeah, I know. I did that like 30 times.» Then she goes, «you don’t have to be mad at me cuz you don’t know how to press a button.» At this point, I call her a bitch. She called me a bitch back. I say«Nice. Nice work ethic, cunt.» And at that point, I left. I will not be going back to this Walgreens. And I really hope she gets reprimanded. Though I seriously doubt she will. Bitch.

The pharmacy is awesome here! Fast and really friendly! And the location is so convenient! It has recently added some fresh fruit options which is really cool. They have everything that you would expect at a Walgreens.

I think this Walgreens really isn’t as bad as the only other review gives it credit for. I haven’t picked up a prescription there, but as far as being a Walgreens in all other forms it really is a pretty nice place. Perhaps it’s location in respect to the Gallery brings some questionable characters through, but I find the staff relatively helpful and kind. I’ve been considering transferring my prescriptions here since the CVS I use on South St has some of the worst pharmacy staff I’ve ever met in my entire life.(Like losing your doctor’s fax with all your prescriptions on it multiple times and informing you that your doctor is lying, very class CVS). If/when I switch my prescriptions here I’ll make sure to update this review given that experience. The pharmacy techs have helped me with a few over the counter thing I needed help with and they were always helpful and quick to act, so I can’t really complain at this point.

The pharmacy techs here are incompetent. If you can’t look under the letter«I» when my last name starts with«I» and«I» have clearly spelled it out for you, what on earth are you doing dispensing medication? It seems rather hazardous, and as conveniently close to work as they are, I doubt I’ll ever go there again. Walgreens in general are weak in customer service and cleanliness, and this one is a superb example of superbly crap service. Think I’ll just stick to my neighborhood CVS.
