Wawa Food Markets

This is my local WAWA! The 262 store! Its a standard wawa it has 3 no-​fee atms. They service is friendly. I haven’t had any issue with my food orders here The negative revolve around the constant panhanding that happens outside of the store. Some being more aggressive than others.

Worst Wawa sandwiches ever! The young sandwich makers just don’t know how to construct a hoagie or just don’t care! There is no pride in the work that they do and it shows. The older sandwich makers are just rude and have no customer service skills, they don’t smile or make eye contact with you when you pick up your order and saying thanks… Also at this location there’s always someone outside damn near blocking your path to the entrance asking for a handout, I don’t come to Wawa to give donations to random people, they need to get this under control ! PS; I’m not going to mention the extremely tight parking lot.

The sandwich counter people are annoying and always look angry.
The hobos outside make me crazy with they way they chase you to your car begging for whatever
The trashy people who shop inside are a pain in the butt
But the parking lot situation is a little better than before they fixed it. Now there are just more places for idiots to park poorly

The worst Wawa in the city!!! Can’t believe Wawa’s in north Philadelphia have better service. 5 employes standing around doing nothing. While 1 one works. How far Wawa has fallen since dick wood.

I have to say I grew up on Wawa when I came home I went to this location and the older woman with short blonde hair behind the deli was rude and snarky. I thought it was a bad day and looked past it but a week later she was still rude not just to me but other people behind the counter. On top of that she makes a crappy sandwich and my soup cup was almost empty. I say drive to another one and have better luck. I did. Ps don’t judge all of Mayfair by this place we are actually pretty friendly people

This Wawa is mostly terrible.
First of all, the parking lot is seriously a death trap. I don’t know why Wawa is obsessed with creating the world’s deadliest parking lots, but they need to knock it off.
Also, the employees here are mostly rude and don’t pay enough attention. The deli constantly gets my order wrong (who would want American cheese on an Italian hoagie anyway? Do people like this exist?) and they are no better at the checkout. I come here 4 or more times a week at relatively the same time of day and always deal with the same handful of cashiers. Yet for some reason, even though they recognize me and say hello to me, they still card me for cigarettes. And not only do they ask to see my ID, I have to take it out of my wallet so they can scan it. This is really becoming a joke. I’m 28 years old. Not on my BEST DAY do I look like I’m under 18. I understand the laws, but when I’m from the neighborhood and come to this location often and they all recognize me, I expect some courtesy. If I buy cigarettes one day and come back the next day for another pack, I can assure you that I didn’t magically wake up a 17 year old again. Give me a break.
The one thing I do like about this location is they always have the coffee carafes filled with fresh, hot coffee. 2 stars just for that.

I usually don’t Unilocal chains like this but it needs to be noted that this location was awful. I went there to get some coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and magazines. Well, the magazine rack was empty. None to be had there which i have never seen before and there were no breakfast sandwiches! Since we were going on a two hour ride, we really needed some breakfast. The cashier said they were coming out in two minutes tops. So we waited. And waited. And had more people waiting with us. Then one of the cooks came out of the hoagie stand and gave only SOME of the people waiting a coupon. That wasn’t fair at all. Just overall, terrible service. I will not be back.
