Window Box

I was initially very happy to have Window Box in my neighborhood — they always have attractive flowers and plants for sale outside, and I thought this would be the perfect place to go to find out about installing window boxes on my house. But the sales clerk who works there during the week is less than useless at answering questions, and unfriendly to boot. I wanted to know about which flowers would be better for a shady location, and he just shrugged and pointed randomly at one of the plants on display. When I called to ask when they were going to get in a new shipment of window boxes, he kept me on hold for ten minutes and then told me he’d have to check and call me back, which he didn’t. The owner, who works there on the weekends, is a little better, but still not very helpful when it comes to advice about how to care for flowering plants or which would be best for my needs.
Bottom Line: This place is probably OK for cut flowers and bouquets, but look elsewhere for plants and advice.
