World Wide Burrito

Just found this hidden gem burrito food truck just on 34^th. Not your typical burrito but I’ll take an Aztec over chipotle any day

I come here every so often since they are usually near my office around lunch time, so its a great place to stop! I have had the Aztec, the Hawaiian, and the Philly Cheesesteak. All delicious! I think my favorite would be the Aztec. My co-worker’s favorite (I usually come here with her) loves the Hawaiian the best.
My coworker and I usually come together and share a burrito (they are huge! and in order to actually be productive, you have to avoid the food coma! These burritos are a great size and half of one is certainly filling, especially if you get fries! If you ask, the guys in the truck will make sure to cut the burrito in half for you!). We usually get the lunch special which comes with fries and a drink. The fries are awesome! Thin cut and the perfectly golden crispiness with excellent seasoning!
The meat in the burritos is always really tender and well seasoned. The other items are proportioned out nicely in regards to meat/​rice/​other fillings. The burritos are all big and stuffed! Certainly worth the $ 8 or so for the burrito or a little more ($ 12 I think) for the lunch special.
Plus, it isn’t greasy at all, nor does the burrito fall apart, even after carrying back to work.
I look forward to trying some of the items I have not had yet and coming back to WWB!

I have to say I am a burrito fan, I mean come on, who doesn’t like a burrito? I had a chance to try WWB seeing it was a part of a Unilocal event that I recently attended. I must admit these guys are pretty good.
The crew running this truck are all on point, with their recommendations. WWB has an interesting menu, more like a mouthwatering menu to be honest. The combinations are pretty intense, with just enough heat to keep you wanting more. Seriously you want to get there fast, because they will sell out.
Their menu is on point with the different types you can peruse, from their breakfast to a vegetarian option for those who aren’t into the meat scene. Add an order a fries to this, or have them stuff the fries in there for the ultimate belly buster. Pretty much after eating one of these you might as well clear your schedule, because it is nap time afterwards.
The bad boy I decided to tackle, or try to tackle was their Aztec Burrito. I literally flipped a coin on this heads being Aztec, tails would have been something else. It really didn’t matter seeing they all look pretty intense the way they construct this hearty masterpiece.
What is in the Aztec that had me wanting to take a nap. Just picture this chicken, rice, beans, house made salsa, sour cream, and I had it stuffed with fries! All this wrapped up and weighing about 3 – 5 lbs of deliciousness waiting for you to demolish.
WWB is a great fulfilling food truck that you need to peruse. Hey, if you see them on the street or at Night Market, get in that line and enjoy.

I was super pumped to try World Wide Burrito last week as I love burritos and anything even remotely resembling Mexican food (traditional or Americanized — give it all to me)! I ordered the Aztec and it was huge and super delicious. The chicken inside was nicely seasoned and tender. I loved the ingredients of the Aztec — they all blended together perfectly. The fact that the burrito never fell apart or got too messy while I was eating it was also awesome. As for the adorable guys who run the truck? Icing on the cake.

It’s okay. Let’s start with the things I like. The proprietors were very, very, very nice. I like that the burrito was toasted a little on the outside. Great! I tried the Cheesesteak Burrito and fries because they were having a special. The flavor was pretty good (no fried onions, but it was still okay). It’s nice to have a cheesesteak without all the unnecessary bread every once in a while. Now for the letdowns. Initially looking at my take away for a $ 12 dollar purchase left me a little underwhelmed. The fries were of course cooked some other time. So, they were soggy and sad. A recommendation would be to make homemade potato chips. They last longer and stay crispier when not fried on the spot. AND you could sprinkle the chips with flavors that would compliment the purchase if desired. The burrito itself was a little on the smaller side. If you are judging the size against a Chipotle burrito for instance, it doesn’t measure up. My overall assessment would be that I had lunch and I’m no longer hungry.

New Truck to the area… and let me tell you, this truck is F***ing awesome! The philly cheesesteak burrito is my Go-​To but the Dragonfly and the Aztec are also really delicious. Also Peter L (below) must have been one of their first customers, because they have a big menu with all the ingredients right in front, plus you get FREE fries if you follow them on instagram! This food truck is a gem, and definitely recommend it to ALL!

I chose the Dragonfly burrito. I could not be happier! I can’t wait to try more. Flavors were amazing!

New truck on the block. Okay burritos. Basically, they offer a burrito stuffed with ingredients from each part of the world — you have to ask them what each one has cause they don’t list it out on the menu. For example, I got the Dragon Fly, which is a burrito with grilled chicken in a Asian-​type sauce, broccoli, onions, and rice for $ 8. It was… okay. Size wise, not the biggest (see pic), got me about 85% full which is that awkward amount where you could continue on the rest of the day without getting more food, but you’re just slightly grumpy. But you definitely don’t want to pay another $ 3 for their fries. If the burrito were a tad bigger, like Chipotle-​size, might bump the rating up to 4 stars. They do have an option to «Chimi» the burrito, which means they will deep fry it a la chimichanga, which will probably get you the calories you need if you’re feeling hungry (and hate your arteries). So yeah, nothing too special, worth a try if you’re curious, but I’d rather do Dos Hermanos for a real burrito or Chiptole or Currito.
