1st Convenience Bank

I have never had any problems with this bank I had a really huge transaction and all they could think of was safety I was really greatful for their professionalism every thing went really well so far so good ????

Do not open your account here. I had great service from the local branches until now. You can never reach them personally, you call the local number and it is automatically transfered to the national customer service center (which is not helpful). I had fraud on my account today and all the supervisor would say is check your account tomorrow. When this situation clears up, I will be closing my account.

I Must first point out that my review is not about this specific location but about the overall company and is not intended to reflect on this stores employees or management. For a Bank called first convenience my experience opening an account online has been anything but. This bank was recommended by my mother and things started smoothly but right after opening the account, trouble started. I went to set up my online banking and was pretty immediately told that I had to call a # to set up a telephone pin in order to proceed. Odd as this may be I tried to do so. The result was about 45 minuyes of fighting an automated system that could not recognize my keypad imputs at which point I gave up for the night. Next day I tried again and it seemed to have corrected itself. Next I went to access my account on my phone and discovered this required another odd process of having an aoutmated phone call come in and entering a code to authorize the phone. This was difficult for me as I am a Sprint user and cannot be on a phone call and use the Internet at the same time on my phone. Finally getting that set up after about 30 minutes of work i saw they had an app. Figuring this would be a good thing have I downloaded it enteres my info and was nicely told there was an error and to try again later. This lasted until the next day. Finally getting through all of this I noticed that my account balance was at $ 0.00. I called customer service and asked why $ 100.00 I opened the account with was not present. I was told that there were no pending transactions in there system and that putting money into the account with a debit card wasn’t even possible. An interesting claim considering it was they only option given to fund the account with their $ 20 minimum at the time I opened it and they had already taken it out of my other account. I was told to wait a day or two to see it came through or bounced back to my other account. Finally 6 days later it came through to the new account. Lastly i just got my debit card and went to activate it. Once again requiring that I call an automated system that is currently not working. So now I will have to wait until tomorrow and see if i can get access to money that i put in over 2 weeks ago. My advice if want to use this bank is to save yourself some trouble and go to a branch to do it as they have a bit of catching up to do for their online services

Great customer service. 7-​day banking. English and Spanish transactions. Eric the manager has been great all the times I’ve dealt with him.
