I’m not sure if this is the right office for him or not, but my parents signed up for the recent promotion your company has had(15 door and window sensors for 27.99/month; ect and a visa gift card). The tech — Greg Bagly — comes out and does the install — I was there at the time. He never said a thing about the pieces he was putting in costing more. Except one — for the garage door they were told it was 20 $ additional for it. Two weeks later they get the bill to their credit card for 1300! The customer care line tells my mother that it was charges for the«extra equipment» she ordered. There was no extra equipment asked for or authorized. She tells them to come and take the stuff out, and she was told that the manager himself would come and take it all out; and how sorry they are about what happened. Today the tech, not the manager came out to their home — sadly I was at work and couldn’t be there. Had I known that the original guy was coming I would not have stayed over for the overtime; but alas in my utter stupidity I thought SOMEONE in that company would tell the truth. Now, as I said, the tech — who was not approved by my parents to come out came out; and proceeds to tell them how he had gotten a note from his manager to take all the unapproved things out… and he wouldn’t do that. He said he would credit them some amount that was not in the total that he overcharged them in the first place and that there was nothing he could do beyond that to fix his lies. My parents are both over 70, and were upset with having to deal with the same tech once again and didn’t feel up for arguing with him. They aren’t happy with the result of this but feel there is nothing else to do. Me; I’m fully prepared to rip the whole system out of the house and mail it to whatever office(postage paid by me!) in return for them to get the proper bill they owe. I also looked through the original paperwork from his install and can not find any invoice that shows the billing he was putting through. What a coincidence indeed…
