I was so skeptical about any sort of immersion training but was literally out of options when I found Lindsay. She and her team are beyond amazing at what they do. From the moment I dropped our pup off, she made me feel comfortable with him being there as well as was able to tell me right away the issues she saw and how they were going to work on them. Lindsay did a great job transitioning him back into our household and showing us how to take over the training. She was also very patient with me and all my frustrations and questions! I’m pleased to say that our once crazy-​hyper dog walks and plays off leash, comes when called and stays in place as long as we tell him to. We still have work to do but the progress he has made is awesome and we owe it to Lindsay and her team!

My husband and I rescued our dog Titus a little over a year ago. For the most part he was pretty well behaved but we were about to have a baby and there were some things we were a little worried about as well. Titus pulled on the leash, jumped up on people when he got excited, got on our furniture and didn’t listen to our commands at all. I found Lindsay on Unilocal by reading all of her great reviews and am so happy I found her. Titus did the 6 week boot camp where he stayed at her house the whole 6 weeks. We sure missed him but Lindsay would text us photos and videos of his progress. I am very happy with the results and feel that it was worth every penny. All the problems I was worried about with having a baby around have been fixed and now we have an amazing dog who is so well behaved! We now take Titus to Lindsay when we go out of town as well because we know she is going to take great care of him. I would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone. Go to her! You will not be disappointed!

Lindsay is amazing! Our miniature dachshund Frank is true to his breed — stubborn. When Frank was a puppy we really struggled with crate training at night, walks, and basic obedience. When Lindsay was done with him he slept through the night, didn’t fight us while on his leash, and now knows commands like sit, down, stay, etc. Our little guy has kept all his personality and gained so many manners. Lindsay exceeded expectations and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Thank-​you!

We love our Shih-​Tzu, Penny. To a fault, it turns out. We took her from her mom at six weeks and spoiled her, which was no way to start off our dog ownership. As time went on, she developed some bad habits, and became quite territorial. It got to the point where we dreaded having company over, and when my wife got pregnant we began to worry about what it would be like to have a dog and a baby. We hired two separate trainers, and nothing got better. We thought Penny was incorrigible.
Finally, Lindsay came highly recommended. We made an appointment for her to meet Penny for a one-​hour evaluation. From the moment that she showed up at our house, Penny knew who was boss. Lindsay agreed to take her on as a project. We sent her away «to finishing school» as we told people, and didn’t see her for two months. When Lindsay brought her back, she was a changed dog, very well behaved, and responsive to commands. It was nice to have our house back. My wife and I agree that if we ever get another dog, we’re sending her to Lindsay FIRST.
Just last week, we took a vacation and boarded Penny with Lindsay. She was happy to go back. Lindsay is firm, but you can tell she cares about the dogs she trains. She’s a consummate professional, and we do not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who might need a good dog trainer.

Lindsay is AMAZING! She is up front and honest. We have a dog who we thought would never change. He began growling at our little children, digging holes, tearing up drip system lines, hyper, basically completely uncontrollable. She took him to her home for 5 weeks trained/​molded him into a whole new dog. It didn’t stop there, when she brought him back she spent 2 hours with us teaching us what she taught him, how, and why. She gave us the tools to continue the training and showed us indicators to look for to be one step ahead so we can be proactive not responsive. Dogs test you just like children do and we weren’t aware of these subtle actions. She is prompt with returning calls, texts and emails. And I have to say she is VERY clean for kenneling and training so many dogs at once. I first thought there is no way this dog is coming back trained with everything on her plate as a wife, mom, & dog behaviorist and on top of that she boards dogs and trains horses but she EXCEEDED our expectations. She has also followed through with follow up training. Lindsay is 100% passionate about her job and the animals that she takes care of. Not to mention she is one patient individual. I felt like a one man circus having 2 boys (3 and 1) and 2 boxers by myself for most of the time as my husband travels 7 months out of the year and she hung in and didn’t get frustrated with me not remembering or not following through on my end of the training at times. At first I thought the price was expensive but the results, time and effort I’ve seen go into the training along with Lindsay’s follow up and the life time training the price is legit and definitely worth it. I would recommend Lindsay to those that have a dog with behavior problems and to those that are thinking about getting a puppy and want to start off on the right paw ;-)

We adopted our dog Chloe as a puppy from a rescue organization. She was high energy from the start and we fell in love with her. Unfortunately, Chloe had significant behavior issues after a really bad boarding experience at another facility about a year ago. After that she demonstrated behaviors that were very concerning as we have 2 kids and not sure if she was a good fit for our family after that. We couldn’t figure out her behavior issues on our own. THe first time we met Lindsay she worked with us one on one at our home. In that time, we learned more about Chloe and her behavior in 2 short hours than from any other trainer we had used in the past Lindsay not only identified clearly what Chloe needed to work on but spent time training us as a family also. She knew we had kids and were concerned about her behavior. We had CHloe go to her home for immersion training. She was an anxious, nervous and protective dog that did not socialize well. She just returned to our home and already she is a much different dog. Lindsay was always available to answer our questions, give us updates on how Chloe was doing while she was going through immersion training.. Lindsay did a great job explaining what we needed to do also to continue her training. We have a very busy family life and she helped us problem solve different scenarios so that we could be consistent with our training. Lindsay has an incredible passion for dogs, obedience, and training and it shows. Her knowledge of training, dogs, and dog behavior was just amazing. She understood who Chloe was and was so thorough and complete with her training. It wasn’t good enough if Chloe did a good behavior once for her, she had to do it over and over. I don’t think I ever heard her raise her voice at Chloe– she just has that uncanny ability to be one step ahead of the dog. I would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone who has a dog. It was so worth the investment for our dog Chloe.

One word nope. So embarrassed a good friend of mine called me over the weekend. Lindsay didn’t follow up with her dog. And I have to say she hasn’t called me back at all. Even though she’s a animal lover my dog had cancer and was with her for literally over a year and I’ve sent a few texts and I haven’t gotten anything back. So I was not surprised to hear my friend say this an hour ago. Really disappointing.

When we got Floyd (blue great dane) as a puppy we fully understood that a dog that will eventually be close to 200 pounds needed appropriate and proper training. We did the research from the pet stores to the mobile training services and clearly found Lindsay to be the most logical choice. She took our «baby» and after 3 weeks of boot camp he returned to us a more manageable and obedient dog. We used to have a giant schnauzer who had a mind of his own and training was not a very easy undertaking. Lindsay did more for Floyd then we were able to do with our previous dog in the 6 years he was with us. Lindsay has been available for us at all times whether we had a question about training or concerns about any behavior. She takes the time to spend with each dog she trains. Without question we would recommend her and in fact we have to several people already.
