Established in 1992.

I got into the car business by accident. I moved here from Minnesota to go to Arizona State University. Like most people I wanted the «best deal» on a car. I found a «great» deal on a Nissan 300ZX (pretty cool car for a 19 year old). Oh boy did I get one over on the seller, I stole it from him for a couple of thousand dollars less than what it was worth! Guess what? I found out a few days later when I brought it to my local auto shop because it was pulling to the right that it had a bent frame and I found out it had a salvaged title! A few weeks later the car threw the Timing Belt and I was forced to buy a different car (thousands of dollars thrown away by this point). I have always loved cars since I was a kid and decided for some extra college money that I would «play» around in the buying and selling of cars. My number one goal when I started this back in 1992 was that I would NEVER sell a car like that to anyone and that is why I search far and wide for the best vehicles.

Born and raised in Minnesota mostly in Elk River. I Moved to Arizona in 1990 to attend ASU, decided to stay of course for the GREAT weather. Married to a very wonderful woman who is originally from Leech Lake Minnesota (she came down to go to U of A) with 2 children, a boy and a girl. I love Arizona and all of it’s natural beauty. Also, I very much enjoy meeting all of the people that live here that are originally from Minnesota — they are very good hearted, honest and hard working people! Being in a state that offers such great quality and of course RUST FREE cars makes the automotive business a real pleasure.

Recently I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord coupe at Auto Paradise and I must say, it was by far the easiest and least stressful experience I have ever had in working with any car dealership in the valley! I had been to every major Honda dealership in the valley and found this one just by random chance and was very impressed (not to mention got the best price I could find.) I worked with Ron and he was extremely helpful, friendly and personable. I never once felt pressured nor uncared for and he even helped me through from the test drive to registration and plates.
Auto paradise has some of the best inventory that I have ever seen from a smaller dealership and their vehicles are very well kept and they offer a great warranty (as they also have their own shop and mechanics on site.) Overall, I must say that this was the best and most genuine experience I could have asked for in purchasing a vehicle and I would highly suggest anyone in the market to make a stop by and see what they have for you!

Recently I was in the market to buy a new vehicle and in searching, I ran across Auto Paradise of Arizona. While I didn’t end up finding the vehicle I wanted here, I was extremely impressed. Why?
First of all, the philosophy is great! It’s awesome to find a place that is open and honest about the car buying experience and is trying to change it to be more positive.
Secondly, they only sell vehicles that they select and determine to be of worthwhile type and quality and they have a full-​service shop on site to check the vehicles and also to provide any repairs that you might need later. They also told me that if you buy a vehicle, you get a lifetime discount at the shop for future repairs.
Third, they list all of their vehicles on their website and the vehicles are actually there when you go to their location.
Fourth, the pitch was very low pressure. I was greeted by Ron who told me to look around and let him know if I wanted to take anything for a drive. The pricing is upfront and they have a folder in each car that includes the CarFax, recent sales prices of comparable vehicles, and other information about the car. It’s clear that they stand behind what they sell.
Fifth, they guarantee that they will get you financed. I didn’t end up selecting one of their vehicles, but considering a coworkers daughter just had to return a car after a month of driving it because the dealership they went to ended up not being able to arrange her financing, this is an excellent guarantee.
In sum, while its certainly an uphill battle trying to change the reputation of the used-​car dealer, Auto Paradise of Arizona is bucking the trend and doing their best to do so. I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle here.

Brett and Ron truly make the car buying experience easy and straight forward. They are honest and will go out of their way to ensure your car buying experience is top notch. I have also taken my vehicles to Auto Paradise of Arizona for service. They do great work and their prices are reasonable. They are always friendly, respectful, courteous and kind. I have purchased several vehicles from this company. Prior to my first purchase I was leery as this is a small business compared to the huge ones on Bell Rd. However, they had a nice assortment of vehicles and mechanically and visibly this small dealer seems to want to present a quality used vehicle. Their prices are about the same as the larger dealers and certainly higher than Craigs list but Auto Paradise has checked the vehicles over and their mechanic is very competent. Rocky and Brett, the salesmen, are personable with no high pressure.

Purchased my Nissan Maxima from Auto Paradise a few months ago and have had absolutely no problems. I enjoyed the feel of not being pressured and being able to roam and check out the cars on my own while having assistance when it was needed. The vehicle was a few dollars more than the Maximas I’d seen on craigslist but was PRISTINE. I honestly couldn’t tell if it had been previously driven, as with all of the other cars on the lot. I will definitely be coming back to Auto Paradise in the future and sending any buddies of mine to check them out. Laid back guys selling quality cars.
