History

Established in 1987.

Benchmark Printing started out as a small copy and offset printer. By 2000 the company had added more presses and expanded its services. In 2008 the company was sold to Steve & Kate Haire who proceeded to add Digital Printing to compliment the offset side. Benchmark continues to add even more services to better accomodate their customers.

Business Owner

Steve has been in the printing business for over 35 years. He first started in the mailroom of the Norfolk Daily News, eventually moving into the pressroom. He later moved on to Rapid Printing & Mailing in Omaha, NE, working as a Press Operator printing Newspaper Inserts, became a shift Supervisor and Plant Manager in 1992 when the company was sold to Century Graphics. Company was later sold to World Color and to Quebecor World. Steve was a General Manger with responsibility for up to 4 plants. In 2004 Steve went to work for ProLine Printing in Reno, NV with responsibility for starting up a new printing plant. In 2008 Steve and Kate Haire purchased Benchmark Printing in Phoenix, AZ,
